... no need for fakery or stupid trends...! Christine has a inborn feeling for monochromatic imagery, managing to convey the soul of the landscape, the rocks, the trees, the old houses... I would dare to say that that she plays a whole sinphony with a single cello! She deserves much more respect and recognition, and, sometime in the future, she will be recognized as an important documentary photographer of her land and her people.
Beautiful slideshow, just played it through three times on the trot. The music the shots were so well made it felt very peaceful to watch in these trying times. Thankyou.

Every now and again I return to my preferred monochrome format, and then I shy away again when I have doubts that it is a good idea. These have just put me on track again. Great photography!!

I read somewhere, that to photograph someone in colour is to capture their clothes. To photograph that someone in B & W is to capture their soul. I think the same can be said for landscapes.
I like the way B&W Photo’s present a Mystique presence to the scene. Very nice Photo’s , thanks for sharing. Lately I’ve been leaning towards Black and White Photo’s,they are enjoyable to view.

Why I love black and white photography..the textures, mood, composition..something about black and white photography that captures the essences of simplicity and mood. Inspires me to go out and look for the photograph in everyday subjects. What format(s) did you use and do you use filters? Excellent photographs.
@@ChristineWilsonPhotography I'm 'old school'..love shooting with film; although I recently purchased a Fujifilm X100F digital camera which has built-in black & white film simulations along with 3x neutral density and red/yellow/green filter simulations which come in very handy. I use my photo editing software on my computer to correct my 'boo-boos' and file re-sizing/image cropping.
I am Color defient in Red, Green & Brown, so I am ivestigating B & W Photography, your images are very inspiring and have encouraged me to pursue B&W images.

@@markielinhart but for photo editing the individual photos I use lightroom, sorry thought you were just talking about the movie it's self. But the editing in lightroom is still pretty basic
I see I am 7 years out of date on this but just wanted to say how much I appreciate your art, the photos are amazing! Can I ask, have you processed each one from a single RAW image or have you used HDR with several shots combined? Also some look almost Infrared, are they? Whatever, they are all incredible. Thank you for sharing :)
Thank you Jonathan, yes all processed from I digital raw files , no hdr that can recall on any of these. I use lightroom to process no true infrared but some processing techniques can lead to that look depending on the season and the original colours . Autumn shots can look quite infrared I'd processed with that end result in mind. Thank you for your interest ☺

Hi there Christine. Is it correct that you shot this with a Leica MP-4 on B&W analog film ? If so, then you are one of few who is capable to see and catch a nice scene and turn it into a good composition. Verry good contrast and crisp sharpness, what do you use for film and developer ? Please carry on like this, I seldom see this quality on RU-vid ! p.s. of couse I subscribed. Bert from the Netherlands

I really like the aesthetics of these images. They are moody and beautiful. I like your use of wide angle lenses to evoke a sense of grandeur. Are they shot on digital cameras? Not that it matters, but I am curious. Didn't see much grain. I look forward to more of your work.
No need to apologize, Christine. You did explain in your subtitle that it was a “slide show” although I would definitely enjoy a follow-up video with tips and techniques as well.
