Black Bears - Momma and cubs in Big Bend National Park - by B Wunderlich 

Momma Bear tries to cross the road in Big Bend National Park, with her 4 baby cubs. Only 2 made it up to the road so the Ranger clapped his hands for her to go back down the slope to the other two. She was determinded to cross and was sort of in a panic while the babies in the far rear were crying out to her to slow down. I just hope they made it across. This was on April 1, 2013, on the road up to the Basin, below the curve below Lost Mine Trail. Bend Bend National Park.
