A glimpse into the 5.5 hour final evaluation for probationary shodan (1st degree black belt) at the Jukido Jujitsu Academy in Palm Coast, Florida. The six candidates went through core (traditional) self-defense, basic karate kata and various throwing forms (nage-no-kata or jujitsu throwing forms), extensive formal throwing, random self-defense challenges, freestyle sparring, multiple attackers, weapons, submission of a written paper, tests of fighting spirit, and more. This video is simply a snapshot of this final test and not exhaustive.

Congratulations to the six candidates on their successful promotion to probationary 1st degree black belt in Jukido Jujitsu under the authority of tutelage and authority Master George Rego (IKA National Jukido Director), along with the support of the entire board of masters of the International Kokondo Association (IKA).
