I remember getting my mom to buy this Cd single for me while I was at school ... got home and played the hell out of it .... We went on holiday to Spain .. and this video was on the JUKE box ... I played it that much .. I was banned from selecting it .... ;-)
Finally the italian music was taking the credits with italo house and techno from early 90s. In meanwhile italo disco of 80s was very underrated. This was in part because of low video quality and low publicity of that genre and because of high concurrence in music from other genres and other countries.
In my opinion...as a 'soul-dance track of the 1990's, this track is just one of the very best of the whole 1990's period. The singer and the singer's way of vocal expression with the song's lyrics capture the joyfulness and exuberance of life itself. That is why this track is so moving to listen to. I write about music, and I must say... this track is one of those tracks that does literally move me to tears when I listen to it.
It is the official video; it's comprised of footage from 'Strike It Up' and the European 'Everybody Everybody' videos. From time to time artists release a video made of footage from their other videos. Maybe Katrin had left the group by this point (as she wasn't the real singer anyway); it was released in late 1991, 2 years after Ride On Time.
isn't there a different song that goes to this "yellow medow-y feild" music video theme?? i remember watching this but with a different song.. anyone know?
You are right! There are two versions of "Everybody Everybody" clip. One of them is with yellow meadow (like in this clip) and the second version- where only Catherine Quinol and two males are dancing. There are also fragments from "Strike it up" in the clip "Open your eyes".
Oh really?!! And you know this because..... Were you there when all of this went down? You've witnessed this with your own eyes and ears? The only people that know and witnessed and experienced this are Ms. Wash, and the poweres that be!! That comment of yours...is just an opinion. And opinions are like assholes...everyone has one! No disrepect.
