Honestly I think the Blue Cult might be one the last arcs they could animate as some of the stuff that happens after that is insanely dark.

Anyone can you please clear my confusion? I watched black butler's today and I thought it's a new anime but then I found out it's already released. Some people are saying it's a reboot and some are saying it's a new season. So please tell me if it's a reboot or a new season?

What’s the main plot of this arc?? I don’t mind spoilers

SPOILER ALERT 🚨 Ciel and Sebastian are once again hired by the queen to investigate and infiltrate a famous public school by the name of Weston College. The school takes male aristocrats 13-18 of age and it's Ciel's job to find and convince the son of a relative of the queen to return home after a year of no communication. The person they're looking for is named Derrick and some of his friends also went missing. This forces Ciel to try and use the four characters (called the prefects or P4) from the trailer(and other students), to solve the mystery behind these mysterious disappearances and if that's even the case. Ciel struggles with the social norms of being in school while Sebastian takes the place of a tutor/professor aka the housemaster of the Blue house with the owl in the trailer. This arc focuses on a mystery in the setting of historical Victorian era British schools. This arc also splits into two parts, Ciel's introduction to public schools and then into the Cricket tournament arc. Ciel is trying to aim for a meeting with the headmaster of the school by winning said tournament and earn a spot at a ceremony called the midnight tea party in hopes of getting answers about the disappearances. The whole arc is great but it is the tea party where stuff gets extremely intense. It's a great arc that shows Ciel's independence and intelligence with Sebastian playing as his support among the staff. I didn't want to spoil major events but here's some characters you can look forward to seeing again. Cameos: Soma returns, Lizzie, original servants plus Tanaka, Lau also returns
