It looked like that, yeah. It happens sometimes that ‘Granny’ isn’t there on the walk, but in this case she had been at the door, so that explains why Martin expected her to join. 😊

Great observation - that’s exactly what it looked like in the situation, yes! The reason seems to be that she had been at the door seconds before departure - so Martin was convinced she would come too. And sometimes she does lag a bit behind in the beginning.

Mads is a bit shy. His eyes are only wide open when he sees a human with Dreamies - his favourite treats. 😆 He is not as addicted to walks as Martin is. Mads has his own activities to attend to. ;)

They naturally do. Several of ours used to come for walks with the dog, up to a couple of miles along forestry tracks.

Thanks a lot. The sound is often a bit challenging because of the wind. About the cat walks: The predecessors of Mads and Martin occassionally went out on walks too, but they rarely made it to the halfway mark. They were distracted - or they were afraid to go into the territory of other cats. We don’t know why it’s different with Martin and Mads. Maybe because Martin has a unique focus that other cats don’t have - and then his brother just went in his tracks and found out that it was cool. 😊

It seems it was the old problem - that when he imagines how something will happen, and it doesn’t happen, it interrupts his rhythm. He wants to know his team from start to finish.
