Black Christmas nails are gorg big yes from me

carbide bits have teeth that are for debulking !! you did good using those! sanding bands should replace the hand file and you typically dont remove color/bulk with a handfile so you shouldnt use a sanding band for that. sanding bands just smooth out the bumps left from the carbide and/or removing shine from the natural nail plate.

I love these... try debulking with a 5 in 1 course tapered bit...I use the pana ones from Amazon. Also debulk near the cuticle more than the tip of the nail that way all you really have to do it put polygel at the cuticle instead of the entire nail and that's what helps fix that humped back look... but you put out another amazing set...it looks Tim Burton inspired

If you are trying to expand your experience with drill bits, just keep in mind: coarse bits work best at high speeds. 💯

i love to use a coarser, carbide bit for debulking. I use the ones with the rounded tips because I cut myself very often 😭 "i don't know who calvin and THE hobbes is" just devastated me

I would have maybe tried filing sister spices nail from underneath (the curvy one) when rebalancing. A bit more work but when you file that one from the bottom you’ll be able to keep it straighter during infills 😘 just a suggestion!😊

Hey Vic. When u find urself running low on polygel...use the excess from one nail and use it for the next instead of wasting it wiping it on the paper towel..just a tip of u wanna use it 💕

Hi Vic, I absolutely 💖love💖 these 💅nails💅 so much!! They are very elegant looking & can also be used for New Years as well. I also forgot to comment on the last set that you did with the green cat eye that was absolutely beautiful also and I thought that the Ombre looked just fine. Don't be so hard on yourself you do excellent work and that's coming from somebody who has been in the business for 40 years. Keep doing what you're doing and also don't be afraid to get out of your comfort zone because that's only going to make you better. So don't be afraid to try something new the only way you're going to learn is from doing it yourself, and you would be surprised how the designs that people want on their nails how truly easy they can be to achieve. And also I don't know if you watch other nail technicians tutorials but me being in the business for 40 years I'm to suggest you watching other nail technicians tutorials, you would be surprised at how you can watch 4 nail techs do the same thing and find an easier way than all of them did to achieve that design. Also may I suggest you start adding some caviar beads to your Crystal placement work it truly gives it a whole new look and it makes it look so elegant when you use the caviar beads. I know they're a pain in the behind to work with but you will figure out ways to apply them quickly as you go along. I was also wondering if you actually worked in a salon or do you work from home? I no longer work in the salon anymore I am working from home now because I'm semi-retired. I just think it's very important for nail technicians too encourage and uplift each other and let someone know that their work is good. All I use is polygel on my nails and I absolutely love it it is so easy to work with it is so easy to mold and it's super easy to file and shape. I watch your tutorials every time they come up because like myself you're a polygel girl as well. I look forward to your next video. Thank you so much for sharing with us, take care and God bless. I get that the regular bits used for de-bulking are not for everyone but drilling for an hour is not worth it 😂 if you want to still use a sanding band just do a more coarse one to de- bulk and use the fine one to do everything else for the most part. Hopefully that’ll help you a little bit 😊
