Fun fact: Liebe name is German for love and Asta's name derives from the Norse meaning of love. Lechita loved her kids so much, she named them after love.

I doubt its that simple. Very likely that asta is some hybrid and his father is likely very strong and immune to such a power as lichitas. God, Angels, demons, dryad's, giants, dwarves and others are all confirmed in this anime. Tabatha the writer has strong influence from Norse mythology so it's very likely asta is some hybrid, as are most of the arcana stages.

It is heavily implied that Asta has no magic because his mother accidentally absorbed all his magic, and to prevent his death, Lictia left him at the church at Hage.

i was thinking that like nothing happened when he was in the womb because the draining effect only happens to living things outside the body, so she drained his magic right after giving birth and had to immediately stay a certain distance away. because it would be impossible to even have a child in the first place since she also drains life energy from things. so Liebe having no magic and being a devil was the reason he was safe around her, where a human with no magic would still have their life energy drained and die.

there's also the possibility of a genetic mutation, like the queen of witches said. even if the reason for his no magic is different, he would still be unsafe around Licita because of life draining like i said before, and the theory that it only became a threat to asta after he was born is the same.

Backstory. Liebe hates other devils because of how poorly they treated him. The other reason is because Lucifero is Dante's devil. The guy that Yami and Asta fought so hard against. And when Dante pierced Gauche with a sword it reminded Liebe of witnessing Licita his adopted mother's death this causing him to go berserk along with asta who witnessed his friend almost die. It is cool how all the plot holes finally connect

I feel it was more of Liebe getting so mad he forcefully took control in Asta’s moment of weakness, with Liebe’s rage taking the form of Berserk Asta. So Liebe is the one that went berserk, but Asta was only taken over because of what he felt after Gauche was impaled.

Here's the update regarding Black Clover. So episode 170 aired on March 30. The Only reason the anime stopped is because it caught up to the manga like very close. After ep 170 The manga was only like 10-15 chapters ahead which is only 3-4 episodes. So the anime studio decided instead of making another filler arc to just take a break while Black Clover creator/author continues the story in the manga. So when the current Spade Kingdom Siege Arc in the manga is finished( its absolutely insane btw) the anime will return probably in another 2-3 years when the manga is far ahead. So while the anime is on break it was announced a Black Clover movie is in the making for early next year in theaters. Hope this update helps

You're just making up stuff. The studio never said the anime is on break. *Episode 170 is the final episode*. There might be another Black Clover anime in the future, but it will be a new anime and not a continuation, otherwise they wouldn't have said it was the final episode.

Most likely Asta is a hybrid off of 2 races. Since elves are so highly populated and his mother was basically far away from everything it’s likely or atleast someone with huge powers to negate her powers with mana zone

Fuegoleon shouldn't appear because he isn't a swordsman. The people that appeared in the fight are all magic swordsmen Asta has fought and learned from. Kiato, Mars, Fanzell, Licht and Yami all used swords in tandem with their magic.

Black clover coming back it’s just the anime was close to the manga so they ended it instead of doing months of filler and black clover was the number 1 watched anime in 80 countries beating out jujutsu Kaisen the anime of the year so it’s coming back but the manga gotta finish this arc and get back on ahead by a good bit

I remember having the weirdest mixed feeling of joy and anxiety when I saw episode 1 appear in my sub feed last year. I was happy that these two were picking up BC but at the same time they had made it known they could simply drop series they didn't like after Goblin Slayer and I was worried they wouldn't make it through the long haul that was the BC anime. And yet, here we are.

Henry may possibly be a cousin or something but the actual speculation is that it's a curse. Likely from a devil but we're not explicitly sure and the same devil that cursed Henry, cursed her. Or if they're perhaps is some relation it might have something to do their family being cursed

Licita’s body also drained life, that’s why that snake was killed being near her. So she would have unfortunately drained Asta’s life. Asta’s dad is still a mystery! They’ve announced a Black Clover movie, but it’s still up in the air if the anime will return. Fingers crossed it will someday!

Timeframe? Likely to be 2 years. The rate they were adapting chapters for this show was 3-4 per episode. The end episode, 170, was only 17 chapters behind catching up. So 6ish episodes if they stretch it? If we switch to seasonal than we need a 12 or 24 episode block with as much balanced pacing as possible, so a minimum of 6 months to a year until they start thinking about sequel anime, probably 2 years if they go strait back to the weekly episodes. _But their sorry note is a movie next year to bridge the gap._

My guess is that they could make a 12 episode cour from chapters 270-310 and another one from 310-350 making a good 24 episodes. The only problem is that we’re only at 295 so 350 is a while away.

I personally think that lecita let asta go because she wanted him to have somewhat of a normal life instead of in isolation with her, and she asked liebe to stay with her later because his life couldnt get worse by staying isolated with her and instead its a blessing in his case, but yeah i think lecita just wanted asta to grow up with people around him and i think she knows he has no magic

You'll find out more about Nacht and why he says stuff like this later once the Anime returns. Magna went to Heart Kingdom to train but he wasn't of a high enough level to learn from them so he came back to Clover to train with Zora who is also a peasant like him with low mana.

From what I understand they are going to finish this arc with a movie ( much like how demon slayer did the mugan train arc as a feature film) but I haven't heard anything about the anime returning
