Let’s also not forget that Jack is a commoner. He doesn’t have a massive mana pool which is why his severing magic is refined to the point that he can do the most with the smallest amount of mana necessary.

The reason why something so destructive never happens is because their planet is reinforced by magical barriers and natural mana, not to mention that they use their power concentrated on harming only the enemy.
