The reason he lost is because he is a side character against the main villain and Ofcourse the main villain gonna get plot. If he was the MC then he would’ve been the last to fight and the first to win (since sukuna never lost a battle I’m pretty sure). And don’t forget Gojo had to be killed so yuji the actual MC shows what he is. (Btw Gojo has to come back becuase sukuna is making up some random shit his next trump card is gonna be ass blow and some random move he gon use)

Its the fact. Gojo lose because Gege came up with all those asspull binding vows. When Unlimited Void hit Sukuna the binding vow summoned Mahoraga, same with when he knocked Sukuna out and lastly the world slashing dismantle was casted so fast with 1 arm because Sukuna used a binding vow.

Prime example of Gojo fans failing to understand/read. Gojo would have died in the first domain clash if it wasnt for mahoraga lol. Gojo was shitting his pants recovering just from the slashes of sukunas domain to the point that he had to recover his burnt out ct. He had to use rct at full throttle to just survive the slashes. A fuga firearrow at that point and he was done for. It was sukuna's mentality to always improve himself is what saved gojo. Sukuna's ultimate goal was not to just kill gojo but to make himself even stronger using mahoraga.It was plot armour that saved gojo from dying in the first domain clash. If sukuna did not have mahoraga ,he would have gone for the kill instead and used his firearrow inside the domain where gojo was already at a very vulnerable state. Sukuna is like billionaires who wont stop making money and will go to any lengths just to get more money.
