@@kevincepeda3868 Season is it's own separate reward and not a Vaha box. so I didn't count it as a normal reward if you get what I mean. I'll update it to make it clearer though. ty for the heads up
They can simply make more traditional dungeons, with cool bosses like this, have 2-3 per dungeon, have some mobs in between and you're golden, you don't have to overthink puzzles, you simply do what is working in all other games and it will work even better in this one because this game by far has best combat.
Imagine if they did anything that made sense. But no, they're dead set on sabotaging themselves because they're legitimately stupid and convinced that they have to be different in every way because they know they can't compete straight up
Maybe not even that. Even just hidden delves throughout the world that have harder enemies that spawn, maybe some treasure at the end that gives you something cool.
When he was describing the mini bosses fight, for some reason I remembered the fight in Log Horizon season 2, where they had to keep those bosses away from each other. I don't know why, but that just popped into my head.
Great coverage, pretty much agree with all you said. I was kind of looking forward to this, and a boss with some actual mechanics is nice, but everything else just seems like such a pain.
For people watching this later. They changed some things. The dungeon is actualy quiet fun now. 1 - You dont need to do the puzzles when you completed it once. You just need to farm the trash to make the keys to progress to the next area. Then you need to defeat the mini boss and the final boss. thats its. 2 - You dont lose crystals at the Season or Normal dificulty level. 3 - Takes like 15 to 30 mins. Rewards in normal are ok for that timespan. Rewards in elvia dificulty are pog.
You missed the best part. The first day. When there was no RU-vid guide and yiu had 50 people on each puzzle, nobody knew what to do and you had crazy PvP to kill idiots ruining the puzzle.
The dungeon seems cool and Im glad we have fresh, new group content. The only negative thing in my opinion is how lackluster the rewards are considering the time investment needed to gather a group and complete the dungeon, as well as the risk factor of getting kicked out of the dungeon/losing crystals. Especially for the Elvia Dungeon. I expected it to be AT LEAST on par with Red Orcs.
Yeah the puzzle areas should be instanced too. And 3rd one seems bugged for me, saw several completion announcements, and some around us could proceed but many of us could not. Doing it on my own Im sure I got sequence right many times but maybe Im doing something entirely wrong on entering it because would never complete for me. Ugh, done for today, will try again later. And yes, the rest of my group was on 4th puzzle and gave up eventually because it would not complete for them, so NA servers having same issues.
I have to also complete the dungeon on my NA account. I'm going in a week or so when it dies down and I can just run it with a party so we can do the puzzles without issues. Hoping the bugs get fixed by then.
There's a simple way to get back to the final boss fight if your game crashed or dc'd. I also got disconnected on the final boss fight, all my dungeon related items were gone aswell, we tried to quickly think of something that could get me back to the final boss room, so I simply checked the statue thingie that teleported us to this room when we put the 5 daggers in and to my surprise, the daggers were still inside. Since the rest of the party was still on Marni 2 and I was on our previous channel, I was sort of in a party of my own, being the 'leader' I could use the Entry button, teleported back to my party and we could complete it together.
During the development of this dungeon i believed PA was thinking this dungeon better not give better reward that players will forget to buy pearls. Good job PA i would have buy pearls if this content is great but another disappointment imo. give it a month or so this content will be a ghost town. The only content i like is the addition of dark rift bosses and season server.
Anders, you do not have to run the dungeon again if you disconnect, you just reconnect to the channel where you ran the dungeon and interact with the thingy and press enter. We did this several times.
I don't get why everyone is complaining about puzzles. Like, as a veteran Destiny 2 player, I enjoy these kinds of things. It makes everything more interesting. Sure, they could make a different type of dungeons where you mindlessly kill stuff like everyone wants here but this is pretty nice

Was on a normal ch. With 300dp recomendation have 350dp died so often lost a few 100 million of crystals i have now idea how low gear people are supposed to do this with like 298dp everything will 1shot them.. Maybe that was bugged aswell and it actually was hardmode who knows...
The whole thing sounds more complicated than I thought. I’ll pass 🤷♂️ Update: My guildies forced me through it. It was fun till you get to the rewards. Not worth the time at all.
The final boss fight is the highlight for me if there are no bugs or issues. They should just focus on that. The rest of the area felt like an afterthought.
Fr, this game will never live up to expectations. The devs never deliver, its always "this game has so much potential" and it never reaches it. Just a lot of lazy development and low effort put into "content" so they can say "hey, see! we do care about what the players want!" then turn around and find ways to make it more p2w.
If you disconnect during the last boss you just go through the final door so long as you haven't left group it's puts you pack into your group, happened to me
Ok so you want to have fun and do a dungeon, because grinding is lame and boring, well there u go u got ur dungeon… oh but first u need a key to enter with this and this mats. Alright no problem… theeeeennn u need to freaking grind pieces on the mob of the dungeon to forge an item to be able to actually go in the fun part of the dungeon which is the boss fight… oh and don’t mind all those little bugs along the way it’s nothing to worry about and we’ll be fixing that soon right?… oh and we know how much u enjoy losing ur crystal so yeah u died u lose crystal just so it’s enough spicy to ur liking… Did I forget anything, ah yeah boss fight is nice… I think imma continue to enjoy my ffxiv dungeon if u don’t mind 🙂
It's crazy, we made many mistakes but learnt from the failures. Tolerated this bullshit and the furthest we ever made is 10% of final boss HP. Hope they next runs will be smoother after some gear upgrades.
Final boss looks interesting, but getting to it? Puzzles, having to deal with possible PvP and/or trolls and PKers, crystal/exp loss on death, and overall just being a pain? No, just no. I'll stick to Elvia.
@@AndersGallar I agree. Or at the very least, emphasize the dungeon more on the mob fights and make that either instanced too and/or remove the crystal/exp loss on death. They've also already shown they can make enemies interesting/fun to fight with stuff like Elvia Orcs, Oluns, Turos, etc. with various mechanics or stuff to deal with that keeps one on their toes. Focus more on stuff like that instead of puzzles.
Ngl I enjoyed the dungeon last stage, just not the puzzle stuff, we are gonna do another run next week hopefully we do it clean. Remember not to use any dash or skills that make u go fast in color stage you can lose them if you dash sometimes.

TBH you kind of described the whole of BDO "Unnecessarily difficult". LOL and no, I came from Blade and Soul, where everything is co op and often hinging on randoms performance. That lead to a lot of vitrol, and then you have the experienced vs newcomers that get chastised for making mistakes. At least you don't need to bid on the loot. lmao Thanks for the preview Anders.
With all the problems it took them 4hours. Let's say it is possible to do in 2. The rewards won't be greater than 300mil from what I have seen so yeah just go orcs
i almost tryna reinstall bdo back. i always want a dungeon/raid content for bdo bcus their supergood combat is a waste on pvp and world boss only. also i saw many disappoinment in the comments. it should be instanced session for sure. why part of is open world. glad i played ff14 eventho its a sub and not free/cheap. best mmo i ever played.
First day: 1b in crystals lost. Hilarious messy puzzles. One guy leaves the group after 1 wipe on the final boss. Second day: Redo the main quest on the tagged character to be able to retag to copy crystals in case the loss is higher than 700m. Well, I only lost 500m. I finished the dungeon in normal difficulty. So many Elion tears lost. Overall, original new kind of content, but on normal difficulty the loots are not worth the effort. I don't know how hard the final boss is on Elvia. I don't know if it'll be forgotten content. Losing elion tears and crystals make the content absolutely unprofitable to do for profit unless you master it and never die (except on the two last bosses).

i think you have only 5 hours to complete the dungeon, more than that, will get kicked, me with my teammates did this around 5h ++ and got kicked by the system also one more thing, you can actually rejoin your teammate inside the final boss room by talking to npc in entry room, because one of my teammate got disconnected and can rejoin by talking to that npc you cant open tent inside the final boss room but you can open tent in the entry room, if you want to reset tent buff or anything, just relogin Edit : 2-3 hours to complete the instance
@@pacepicante6952 The people losing crystals are playing on Elvia though. Normal isn't too bad. They give you matchlock to take out bird in the sky. Rest is easy on Normal even. Way easier on Season. Searing Heart from the mini boss is okay in a group of five tbh, shouldn't be too bad.
@@pacepicante6952 hmm maybe you're right. I was with a pretty geared group so it may be bias on that front. My NA account is a little less geared so I'll be going through it and see how it goes.
We had one guy in our server who had no gear on and would purposely screw up your puzzles to not let anyone go through. You’d kill him and you’d get instant karma bombed. Such shitty as people out there.
Honestly now that I’ve done the puzzles and don’t have to do them on subsequent runs, I really enjoy the dungeon. The puzzles were complicated sure, and the servers were wonky, but you only need to do them for the quest line, so I’ll gladly run this weekly and have fun with it
So stupid making a dungeon open world, it's not a dungeon anymore if there are randoms running around... Holy shit this "dungeon" is so bad.... Shame it is even called a dungeon.... I still have the hope that one day they will introduce real dungeons if the community gets loud enough
This game eats up ram like crazy and the way it kicks you out to the previous huge map area instead of the entrance of the instance [after a wipe] is complete bullshit. It forces you to go into loading screens repeatedly, and it's where people always get their CTDs.
well in BDO SEA, those player is nuts. they all go solo and didnt care for party and end up partying random inside the Atoraxxion and mess everything up.....we need Corsair Dagger to stab those Spoiler.
@@AndersGallar yea that is the thing i was expecting a fully solo instance with let's say 3 boss fights and trash mobs in between. Last boss is nice but the thing's required to reach there from the very beginning needing to craft an item to enter are just not fun.

I think its a concept they can build uppon. I think they should take the approach of the "raids" in destiny. Focus abit more on bossfights en mechanics and this would be a cool Weekly experience of you with some guildies. But especialy in a game like BDO it HAS to be atleast comparable income to the end game spots. People have only X ammount of time to spend and the generaly feeling now is "i could have been makin bilions @orcs in this amount of time". You are praticly griefing your progression with these lame rewards. Ofc some people would play for the "fun factor" but that doesnt last after run number 500. And gl finding like minded people if its not worth. And after so much development time + effort it would be a shame to make this DOA.

Considering i did this at 380dp on normal servers (not even elvia) and still got stunlocked by birds causing me to loose two elkars, yeah never stepping in there again. Not worth the time or money losss from just staying at orcs for shit DoA content.
9:20 thats a 12 year old boss mechanic from Runes Of Magic and we call that boss a "Color Boss". this Dungeon mechanics are cheap af according to a 2014 released mmorpg tbh. sorry for my bed england
How do they make literally everything they do such trash. This game is circling the drain for me. Every single time they touch it it gets worse. Console optimization has gotten worse every patch for the last 6 months. Virtually noone plays anymore. They just afk or only come back for a week after each new class and then leave again
While Atoraxxion is cool I guess, I think it's a tone deaf addition to the game. There are so many other things I'd rather see than another attempt at making group content.
i dont why they have quests and keys/dagger are at an individual level, should be at a party level, especially as your playing as a group. You have no idea what quests people are up to , which makes its so clunky with 5 people. Same for making the dagger, you dont know what pieces everyone has. Also some of the boss pieces didnt drop for all party members which makes it impossible to make the dagger unless you change servers. WOW & NWN dungeons were way better. Waste of time, no fun.
I'm soooo disappointed ! why to be alone with ur team u have to wait the end of the dungeon ? Why pvp ? why the puzzle are so unintuitive ... We are like 10 player wainting that only 1 finishing it .... I really do not understand. I was so hyped omfg. If only it was more like uncharted or zelda puzzle ...
