Succession Warrior is like a punching bag in life. As a class that relies on down attack, it only has one knockdown attack that can truly be used effectively. Some of its core skills even lack a down attack. Its area damage skills are small, lacking any skill effects that increase attack speed or reduce attack speed. The only unique aspect it possesses, not found in other classes, is the addition of DP stacks, which are essentially useless.
Fully agree. Our core passives are essentially useless besides grab ignore resistance, If we get slowed we are pretty much dead, we’re forced into severing counter since everyone has 100% KD resistance, we lack all accuracy in XvX situations since they made our e buff and counter unstackable forcing us to build into 3 or more accuracy jewelry to be competitive for kills since our 2 hardest hitting skills are 0% accuracy and my favorite change has gotta be changing the 15% evasion buff to 40 DR that doesnt stack with our 50 DR block buff and actually makes us lose 10 DR. 😂 All the while a Drak or Woosa hitting half the skills does 3 times the damage to an opponent thats not CCd. But hey, they really sold those classes. Foreheads everywhere will get the Succ Sage treatment sooner or later lmao.
@@NaofumiBDO I will say the DP stacking is useful I have noticed it making our class more tankier then other classes in the game when we are not fighting the awake sages or drak but they melt anyone anyways. My main issue is the shadow nerfs. They took away the extra 10 % ignore grab resist on prime grab, they nerfed the down smash on pulverize, most of the down smashes don`t even work most of the time while you have classes like mystic, sorc and musa flipping you around on the ground like a fish. Succession warrior is suppose to be the most tanky class in the game due to the fact we have the highest DR values a really damn Q block but in the current state of DR we feel like paper because we don`t have a crazy heal like drak or valk. Even if we go full tank we are not killing anyone unlike a awake drak would or most evasion builds now and days. Prime Spin Counter feels slower and is almost a death wish to use in pvp now. Most of our AOEs are really big but they are ether to slow or mostly frontal guards and with everyone and their mother having a block jump good luck with that. Now I am hearing rumors that the recent " buffs" bugged the class and we move slower now I have not noticed. But yea I don`t know why they just wont let succession warrior be the tanky front line debuffer that they said they wanted it to be they kept teasing bound on earth tremor and now REFUSES to give it to use.
@@tgangel805 Sure, DR is good outside of capped content. Sadly BDO is 99.5% capped content. Our DR is useless when capped and when other classes get % damage passives, aura passives, etc. We are bugged and lacking nearly 25-30% attack speed on some skills. Its ass. Being a FG heavy class naturally puts us at a disadvantage because everyone has a Block Jump or skill that goes through FG. PA wont let warrior be a true front liner because we are the only players that adapt and outplay other players now. Do u know how scary it is, that Warriors adapt through nerfs, slows, busted classes being released and they still continue to be complained about? Literally full skill based gameplay.
I miss times when you had to tryhard to keep your class on protection and run away when these skills were on cd, now people play meta classes most often which have infinity protection and they keep talking about how warrior is broken. Not to mention that aoe is way fucking too big on these classes.

@@Goldsteinburg Awake Tamer has extreme movement but God do I hate her kit. And AoEs. Awake Tamer can 1v1 like a pro and 1vX against noobs but the second you come across someone who can SA trade(Such as Succession Tamer) Awake will melt if she tries to 1vX more than 1 SA trade class so she resorts to fleeing at full speed 😂 If PA can give Awk Tamer more range and then maybe... MAYBE I'd force myself to learn her. But for now, Succ Tamer is meta for stuff like group PvP since Succ can AoE debuff and such 👀
Been a warrior main since NA launch. I've been taking a break for the last 6 months and it's the best decision I ever made honestly. I wish I still loved the game like I used to but it really nice not feeling like I need to treat gaming like a job to stay competitive anymore.
Me laughing at warrior being one of the worst movement classes in the game as a musa main (without grab, i frame, infinite healing, SA FG Q block). In all seriousness though, yea the ranged meta/sage meta/drak/woosa meta is a nerf to melee classes, lots of melee classes get forced into dp builds.
At this point i think they should just focus on pvp as a whole instead of balancing it, they should make it more rewarding, enjoyable, release more content and try to bring back pvp players since they are the only relevant players. It's plain and clear that they don't care about the games pvp balance as a whole and probably never will. its a waste of time to continue to ask for nerfs or buffs, we can either play a broken class or keep complaning forever since they couldn't care less... After drak and woosa there will be something else as always, perhaps even more broken.
I'm an archer player, the weakest class in the game, seeing a warrior player (QQQQQQQ infinite blok) one of the strongest classes in the game, complaining about the BDO's imbalance 🤣🤣🤣, come play with the archer and you'll feel what an archer is REALLY bad class lol
Better nerf eva. Both most broken classes are actually DR, also the third one Gold is not talking about here is... Valk surprise surprise, another DR class. But still people complaining about EVA, whatever.
Are u a drak enjoyer? Eva it’s a secondary problem, the biggest problem as gold say is speed , s, sa movement that some clases like warrior don’t have and can’t compete. In that escenario doesn’t really matter if ur eva o dr you have more chance to get cc and die anyways
@@RodSn0w All those classes are DR based, you can even rotate between them if they get nerfed you can always play one DR spec that's meta, without even having to grind for new accs/offhand. This EVA thing might come from Succ Sage ( based class), which was nerfed on his RC while ago, and nobody plays the AWK spec compared with the Awk Drak, Succ Woosas, Valks and so on. Not even popular classes that have EVA passives like Sorc specs EVA , they go full glass on DR, that's how valuable are hybrid EVA buidls nowadays compared to DR. Besides Maegu that nowadays is actually retarded, list any top5 fragger on high scale that run EVA. Trying to balance PVP reworking EVA when the most dominant classes for some time ago don't even run that spec and celebrating that finally there's a PVP balance cause of that is quite missleading
@@validangle reasons these classes are strong is cause they got very high utility (e.g. vacuum, heals, fast movement, high combo damage, protected areas). And what about striker, that class is def. popular and 100% runs eva same for awakening hashashin, corsair and so on.... If there was an awakening hashashin with thats heals that would be funny too, right? Trying to convert the discussion to a such a biased take is quite delusional.
@@akatsuki1929Please go find those EVA classes topping the charts on any PVP content (besides current Maegu), even hydrid classes are not running EVA nowadays. Delusional is to base your reply on a bunch of "ifs" that doesn't depicts the current reality of the game. I'm saying the same as everyone else, nerfing EVA is not going to fix the current state of PVP, but hey sorry to hurt your feelings.
