So, I'm assuming that compared to the i7-7700k the i7-6700k only has like a 3% difference? AKA it wouldn't be worth getting a 7700k if the performance is this good on the 6700k? Do you know anything about the difference between the FPS on an 7700k and 6700k?

The difference seems closer to 10% at the most according to this site. I actually find most of the comparisons here fairly accurate, but I can't say that about every part. Ryzen is getting lower fps, but also lower cpu usage. I don't know how Ryzen performes doing a live stream/recording, but having that lower cpu usage in BDO look like you could easily record or do a live stream on it. I currently have a 4th gen i5 and I'm planning to move to 4th gen i7 (4790, maybe the K one), so I don't need to change MoBo or even RAM (DDR3 to DDR4)

You still have a 1080TI with clockspeeds going up and down which will also effect the CPU results. 1080p will still effect GPU in a MMO in certain situations.

dude GPU frequency is affected by cpu, you might look at gpu usage is at 3rd place in the first line its very low...

I think you did a really nice job there beside the fact the video card config give a small advantage for intel cpu. It would be really interesting if you could make another video like this but add a histograph showing FPS overtime. Intel cpus provide higher FPS, but it fluctuate a lot. Maybe it's me, but I can see few micro-stutters from intel cpus. Kudos for the effort

yea i know but as you can see at the first line 3rd place gpu usage its very low, so an OC on GPU won't change anything. only higher cpu frequency and ram frequency may little bit

People running wrong tests. Why did i7 6700k have more fps if others processors weren't running at 100% full? And why the video card was not running on 100% full?

The game is open world, its really intensive on CPU. Intel i7 will always handle it better. That's why its got higher usage with GPU. That's why i7 is for 144hz gaming or 1080ti at 1080p gaming. It handles CPU intensive games better.

Nice video, but that 100% usage all the time on the i5-3570k seems a bit strange. I would understand, that it ihas less cores, and needs to be used more than a i7-6700k, but to be at 100% all the time seems like a "xcorona.xem" bug.

With my 4670k I checked and Black Desert can in fact go to 100% all cores for a sustained period with coherent UI and xcorona using a combined

It's very simple: i5: more FPS = Perfomance Ryzen: less TOTAL CPU usage. You can watch stream/movie on 2nd monitor, use skype or whatever the hell you want and your CPU usage will still be lower than that of i5 = Multitasking. Try doing a few things on two-three monitors with f.ex 2 core 2 thread Celeron. Good luck. With 8core/16thread Ryzen You won't give two fucks about CPU usage.

Any AMD CPU will give you 20 fps min in this game, top intels give you twice more, but dont even expect 60+ fps in city or fights...

Even i5 dropped to ~20fps in cities so well.. You don't play in city. Ryzen is fine as long as you're not FPS freak

Have you considered that maybe the game is an absolute dogshit? I mean, it literally dropped to 21 fps on the mighty 6700k oced @ 4.7ghz. Taking into consideration that both the CPU and the GPU's are sitting almost idle, I'd say that it's more likely that the game is shit coded than that the best gaming CPU is dogshit too.
