Hope this area is HUGE! I also hope it brings about new gameplay. I'd love it if they did a gothic Transylvania (based on Castlevania architecture and story) complete with vampires, werewolves, and witches. It's possible as it's been confirmed that there are other realms out there. Vampires would love the whole 'Prophecy of the Black Sun' for obvious reasons, lol. It'd be neat to have a werewolf-based class (or make Tamer into one, as she's bound to a mystical black wolf) and a vampire-based class or skill line. Have a unique grab (feeding) animation or maybe it could be like the 'steal' animation which would cause you to lose amity with the npc as well as gain negative karma. Have vampiric options in character creation and items in Pearl Shop (bats, coffins, ect). It'd be the perfect questline and hangout for Halloween. Have demon, vampire, gargoyle, werewolf, and dire wolf grind zones. Valkyrie could be heavily involved in the story, sent by the College to investigate and act accordingly. I think Sorceress, Lahn, Nova, and Dark Knight could have cool story options as well.
It's a hard question to answer as we don't know the "practices" of such a place. If it's the homeland of Black Spirits through the meteor crash site, I highly doubt that there us any necromancy practices there. We already do have a "Necromancer" class, Succession Nova literally summons the fallen to fight for her. In fact her Flail and Shield are a mimic of Necro from Diablo.
i'm looking forward to the 100 level tower even more. there was a tower in lost ark that you do solo and it was my favorite thing about the game at that point. lots of good stuff coming up.
First of all Good vid. Now this a lot of ppl may not remember but if we pay atention to the hashashin ps4 trailer we can se one of this gates and some giant demonic hands trying to pass through this gates and those hands at least to me give me vibes like the concept art that PA shows
Could it be that it's like Minecraft nether? In regards to these gates. Could these gates be like 'the way' from the wheel of time?, connected pathways that link these breaches into our world? Like the subtle knife n Windows from His Dark Materials? We will know for sure but it's funny how When talking about DL he goes straight into talking about Magnus n 1000yrs ago.
I seems like all gates lead towards a different place, which I do not fully enjoy as an idea. In my eyes, having some gates lead to the same place, but with different names as in: World of Aal, Demon Lands, Elvia. That's an interesting twist which would also simplify things. We'll see in the future!
I think we are gonna use the key we got at the end of Mountain of Eternal Winter from Barhan Prince (If i remember correctly). I support the idea frome a gate leading to another realm. PS: I hope can finally kill Jordine there.
