Makes perfect sense to me that warrior is at the bottom. Every other class has their own thing aside from the black spirit. Outside of the black spirit related things everyone gets like rage and escape, warrior is the only class I've played who has basic combat ability descriptions specifically call out utilizing the black spirits power (as far as I remember) and you can see it reflected in his ability animations like scars and spear, especially post awakening. The pact with the black spirit IS warrior's thing so it stands to reason that his power also directly correlates to it's power at any given moment.

Musa is the son of the Martial God, which should be a bit more important, I think. Musa himself is nearing the level of Martial God. It's not an actual god like the dragons, but B tier is a bit low. Striker trains to the point of becoming one with Nature, the fauna part of it. He sees no opponents in humans, so he starts exploring. In the end, the Nature itself accepts him and he becomes Awakening Striker, the true pinnacle of martial arts, from simple to complex to simple (primal) again. The clones of himself are memories of him training. Echoes of his past self (Echo Spirit). That's why in Awakening attacks, you can see those Echo Spirits using preawakening moves. His human training never left. It's embodied in Echo Spirits. Though the idea of him being so strong he can only find an opponent in himself is also nice. He's the closest thing to what you would call a God of this world. Mystic is an emissary of Banha, Striker himself grows to the point of resonating with their creation.

Guts being C tier for innate power is absolutely appropriate. He was born into C tier, and he stayed there... he just never gave up. Being pissed off all the time doesn't hurt, either. (Before the armor, of course...)

Loved the lore video. Just not to in line with you when it comes to Corsair. As for mystique you just spoke of her awakening and for Corsair you take both specs into consideration. Yeah her awakening is kinda meh lore wise but her succession is power. Doesn’t she wield the power of the sea of dreams?

Warrior being bad in the lore make sense stay with me now also Spoilers ahead. If you did the recent Jordine Saga and played Warrior in the magnus you realize that the main story is almost built around warrior with some few off sets like if you play tamer, musa, mawha, ninja, kuno, woosa, mageu in the land of the morning light or play guardian or drak in mountain of eternal winter. Warrior is a war orphan who lived somewhere in calphoen outside the city. The Goyen Mercs who was ether passing by or called in during the war between Calphoen and Heidal. The Legendary Merc Goyen took warrior in and adopted him like a son. The problem is Warrior never learned to use a great sword while he was apart of the mercs whether he because he was too young or not skilled enough. The Goyen Mercs wanted to find goyen great sword not only because they think his soul was in it but they had no body to find its like having a loved one die and you had no body to bury so you used something they always had on them or was known for as a rite of passing. So warrior wanting to find that sword is really important to him because its basically him wanting to honor his adopted father and put him to rest. Somewhere we still don`t know how we became a Merc for the White Witch who you know betrays us and we get the black spirit and make a deal with it that we end up losing our memories. Plus in the second dungeon the white witch says things to you like remember I was the one who found you and loved you and nursed you back to health and guided you when nobody else did which sounds like she found you after Goyen got betrayed and the merc group disband. If you played the Jordine saga and know anything about Jordine from the Shadow Arena Game. Jordine is a very very powerful Succession Warrior. Jordine is Warrior ether rival or antagonist. For the berserk fans if you go thru the Jordine Saga and not spam R. Jordine is now BDO Griffith and all know awake warrior is based off of guts. Also finally in awake warrior besides his own skills warrior uses some of the most skills that has the energy and power of the black spirit because he seems to be the most well attuned to the black spirit power which makes sense because awakening comes out after your black spirit goes berserk from power and tries to take over your mind body and soul and you beat it and basically calm it down. Succession Warrior uses some of the least black spirit skills because you find out succession warrior is how you used to fight before you lost your memories. Which would make sense why his so powerful because you adopted father and the man who trained you was one of the best Mercs across the lands its just you did not know how to use a great sword so he most likely taught you how to be very very good with a sword and shield. The final reason why warrior is the protag because lets be honest if the other classes as powerful as they are in the lore were to be in the main story most of the events would not have happened because they would have insta stopped it. Yeah, they did Corsair dirty. I even saw an interview with Pearl Abyss that said they were toying with the idea of making her an offspring of Shakatu...But they decided to go with Patrigio...I recently did her awakening/succession storyline (without spamming 'R') and it turns out she's the daughter of a mermaid (her mother, she inherited her powers, dream whales, and immortality) and Patrigio. Her form is very disappointing (in my opinion) due to being uncustomizable and doesn't allow for any meaningful gameplay (underwater). I think her 'form' should be customizable in character creation (at least let us dye the damned outfit) to where we can choose to give her an actual mermaid tail (tail/fins) with style and color options (similar to hairstyle/color). Maybe have cool ear options like fins or something. It should be automatic and permanent in water with unlimited breath/stamina (water only), nothing more lore-breaking than a 'mermaid' (she's considered as such in her story) getting stranded at sea! She feels poorly thought out and rushed. They could have truly made her something special and unique (especially being the ONLY mmorpg to have a playable mermaid). Was even more disappointed when they released a Siren boss (Maretta) without doing anything with Corsair. Being both pirate/mermaid she'd have stronger ties to Siren than any other class! I actually have a forum thread discussing this topic (others have as well)...Hopefully with their new underwater content (based on Atlantis), which is with the 1000 year time travel expansion, they can overhaul Corsair. I also hope this area isn't just another Sycraia ruin...I'd love if they'd overhaul ocean content and swimming (mechanics and animation) maybe even add a swimming/diving life skill as well as underwater combat...It'd be really neat too if they'd give Corsair a skill called 'Luck/Kiss of a Mermaid' or something that would provide a buff for her allies (party members) which would give a sailing/fishing exp buff, sailing speed increase, swimming speed increase plus more stamina/breath, and fishing/sailing luck (better fishing and low chance of running into storms) for an hour with a 24-hour cooldown or something. It'd be nice too if Corsair had a passive that gave her better sailing since she's a pirate captain (ship/crewmates/rations deplete at a much slower rate and faster cannon reload/fire speed) and bartering/trading increase (due to her father being the leader of the Crows Merchants Guild).

well... i'm not familiar with lore, mb there is something that you didn't want to spoil but from what you've said about monkey striker, it seems there is nothing special about his power so he might be the best martial artist, but it won't help against desert eagle kekw i mean god powers, so mb he's too small to even challenge characters with god powers.

Straight shitted on warrior and berzerker. Warrior just a soldier? Seems a little off as that class seems to be the Protagonist in crimson desert. And Zerk, just militia?... the battles both of these classes have been in and survived to tell about it, without the use of magic has got to be more than just meh... I understand you said this lore was mostly based on their awakening form, but not even a mention of how or why zerk can go beast form is crazy. You did them dirty, imo. Otherwise a great and interesting take on the lore of most of the characters, except you forgot scholar & how dosa ties in to the school of the do arts. 👍

Firstly, I'd like to say, I find it hilarious that you have some insane backstories, and then Warrior is just a mercenary! I want to touch on a few things regarding the lore. Witch and Wizard should probably get put on the S tier, as they have ties with the embodiments of their respective elements. (That being Fire and Water, and Lightning and Earth) Now, whether or not you want to consider those Godly beings would be dependent on how you view Mythologies, such as Zeus with control of Lightning or Poseiden with control of Water. In the same way with Mystic, they have decided to help the Wizard and the Witch. In Wizards backstory, it is even said that he struggles to contain Marg, as he has a never-ending desire to burn everything. The will of Marg is so strong, that Arne had to save Wizard's life after an internal battle with Marg. I, personally, would say that they are no less than any of the other Gods mentioned in Bdo's story, such as Banha, I might even say that they could be stronger. They also figured out how to time travel (Break a hole into reality) in their research, albeit, by accident! (Edit: Or it's that they tap into the powers of the God, like Drakania and Guardian) The other character I would like to touch base with is Musa. In he and Striker's backstory, they are described as almost the same character. They both grew up in the same area and competed in the country-wide tournament where any fighter can fight to claim their title as the best. Just like Striker, Musa competed and defeated every adversary in front of him until there was only one remaining and after their fight, he found out who that person was. But, after defeating everyone, there was no one left to challenge him, and he left. Now, my question is, are the Do Wielders also in this area? Do they compete in this tournament? Did Musa and Striker fight any? If so, they are immediately above them. In Lahn's story, it's never said who she was killing, just that any she came across, she killed. She could be the strongest here, having killed a god at one point or it could have been normal civilians, guards of towns, a martial artist here and there, but we don't know. For all we know, if she came across Ninja, he could have killed her. (Now, knowing that there was some entity inhabiting the weapon, that can seize control of someone's mind if they touch it, that's probably not the case.) I'm all for scaling her up though, she's my main! I love that you are looking into covering the lore for this game! It's awesome, but no one actually cares about it!

Also A Mystic Main, because punching and kicking things is fun + Pet Gyrados. I just love the idea that folks use god infused weapons to take down gods n dragons n such where as Mystic and Striker just punch em.

Classes like zerk are old and they don't have that much lore around them zerk is far stronger than most of the classes.
