I'll always remember this team for their spirit , courage and the graciousness they showed towards the English team , after they won the Women's World Cup final. Great work by the best coach in nz rugby : WAYNE SMITH...he won 2 world cups with men y today with women.. Incredible guy..guru y brain. If he can finish with men again for the next year before the retreat..it Will would be super.
As an English fan I will never not be sad about this match, I got up at 5am, my non part loving sister got up with me so I wouldn't watch it by myself. Both the England and NZ team showed show much strength, talent and spirit to make it as close as it was. I am absolutely gutted we didn't win, and yeah ofc probably without the red we would've won, but the NZ team are warriors, you never know that even at even keel they would've found a way to win, as they always do. Ultimately as sad as I am I'm just proud of womens rugby and women's sport as a whole. This sport matters, women's sport matters.
Womens rugby was the biggest winners here… its time for black ferns to become professionals. NZRU needs to stop wasting time and start respecting all genders of our national rugby teams.
England are paid professional players, with their own comp, they should've won, regardless of having a player sent off. Says more about the black fern's spirits than anything. So cry me a river.

Is it just me or does the English team look super bored and not wanting to have to watch them? Maybe it's just me but that seems just a tad bit disrespectful.
Let's be honest, the red card was the difference. England 14-0 up and dominating the game. I can see why the head on head contact is taken seriously but it wasn't deliberate so a red card seemed harsh. But that's the rules 🙄

@@mistacrete I made a fair comment. The ferns played well no doubt, but the red card was the difference. It took all the momentum out of the roses and created more space out wide for NZ which is their strength.
WOW, NZ players and fans celebrating because they beat England by having more players on the pitch. How sad is that. If that is the only way you can win it shows how rubbish a team NZ is. It was the only way the match was going to be even, by playing with more players. SAD.
