Can I be honest about the TMNT movie? I actually think it's okay. Now I didn't grow up in the 80s with the original, however I did watch the 2003 version, along with the 2012 version, and while I do think there was too much April, and some of the fight scenes were meh, I did find the turtles to be very entertaining to watch, and I do kind of like their backstory. Also I do like their designs.

***** TMNT 3 put me to sleep, this movie at least had some entertaining action and character moments, especially the punishment scene where Splinter forces the brothers to train after they sneak out.

The teamwork from the 4 turtles against Shred-former (I guess that's our supposed Super Shredder, robbed from us from TMNT 2: Secret of Ooze) was pretty well done. Megan Fox as April O'Neil got the reporter job right. Don't know who's idea it was for her to do... "that" that caused her to be fired, but hopefully she gets better in TMNT 2: 20... what, 16? 17? Hope she'll accustom herself to the CGI stuff.

+AshXXMayftw That's pretty close to what I said. I actually was one of the nicer reviewers of the movie than some people who completely bashed it and made it clear that I know this isn't the TMNT for my generation but for young kids who want a Transformers-like movie with the TMNT. But because I'm a big fan of the 80s Turtles, people assume I hate it completely. I've definitely seen worse.

I bought only one thing on Black Friday (I was working during it) and I managed to get an Ike amiibo. And that was it. BUT I am happy you got those Super Sentai DVDs. Zyuranger is a fun watch and Dairanger is awesome! You'll enjoy them I think.

hahahaha i got the TMNT movie and Inside Out which when i saw you did as well, i thought that was kind of weird yet funny. I also got some of the retro 80's turtles on DVD. I am so jealous Andre. I need to come to America. Everything in Jamaica is just too damn expensive. I kid you not last year they put this tax on books and a book series that I bought for $800-$850 each the year before jumped to $1460-$1600. I have been buying the rest of the series from The Book Depository ever since. Last week I bought 4 books online from TBD and three digital comics over the weekend from Image Comics during their sale. Never bought digital comics before but these were good. Especially the Beauty series which turns our addiction to body perfection on it's head. Loved your haul man it was amazing. Bless.

I just got a Wii U myself this Black Friday. The Smash/Splat Edition. I also got Lego Marvel Superheroes for my son since it was on sale. He loves Minecraft and he's taken an interest in the Avengers so hopefully this holds his interest. I also got a couple of educational toys for the younger ones. Black Friday where I was was nothing like the horror stories I hear from the US (I'm up in Canada). I got there maybe half an hour before the store opened and I was only 4th in line. The line got pretty long behind me by the time Toys R Us opened but when it did open there were absolutely no instances of pushing, shoving, people running all crazy. Instead, people were calm, polite and downright civil. "Pardon me", "Excuse me", "Please" as well as the obligatory Canadian "Sorry" all around.

yes those were the shorts jordan wore in the climax of the movie, and even within the context of the movie they were supposedly the same ones apollo wore and rocket wore later on in the series. CREED WAS SOOOOOO GOOD.

I managed to pick up Jurassic Park, X-Men, Alien and Birdman on blu ray as well as the Far Cry 3 DLC and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell for Xbox. Overall, I'm happy with what I got considering I did all my shopping online.

I got four Blu-rays at Best Buy. Specifically, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas: Grinchmas Edition, Rio (the most recent version with the slipcover featuring Blu's face over a purple background (why is that a common trend with cover art these days, just a character's face over a solid color background?)), Inside Out, and Penguins of Madagascar: The Movie.

I got a pea coat and scarf that normally would've ran in the $120 range for about $50. I also took advantage of hot topic putting ALL OF THEIR SHIRTS on sale for $10, if I wouldn't have went there last I'd probably be $200 in the hole right now just on tee shirts, but instead I'm $200 in the hole on other stuff. I also got some cool socks and a "I Solemnly Swear That I am Up to No Good" pocket watch for like 20% off at Spencer's.
