This video is a tutorial style review of the black Fx one set by babyliss pro. In the first side of this haircut i explain what I’m doing and the rest of the video is mainly about my thoughts on this clipper. The black FX one set is a great set of tools and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a new set of tools.

I am on fence trying out Babyliss. Barber 14 years have my own shop Speedys Barbershop Farmington NM. Just used Walh 100 year anniversary cordes 5 star seniors Andis T trimmer Oster Model 10 blade system for long time. But i tried my coworkers Babyliss older set i thought they cut pretty good.

They cut pretty well. I think it would be a good replacement to the Wahl. If I’m not mistaken the Wahl only has 100-120 min of runtime. The model 10 alternate for me would be the andis ceramics

Thank you for this. This is probably the first video in which I see someone using it in a real world scenario (that’s not a marketing purpose). Between this and the Goldfx blade which do you feel gives the sharpest lines for thinner hair? Great video. Definitely will subscribe.

Tbh they both hit sharp. I found my gold trimmer overlapping easier than the one that comes with these. I like them both but anytime my trimmers overlap on their own i kinda shy away from them. I just need to reset them but the graphite blade has been treating me well. Both are super sharp compared to the boost, snap or even the lo pro trimmers don’t hit as hard as the normal fx.

Clippers are fire but the battery on the replacement battery’s arent the best I feel a back up battery is a must for all day use

Definitely go through a full battery and a half through a full day. Thats what forced me into buying a couple sets because the red lo pro is $199 or $179 & the battery separate is $49 lol and premium guards are like $30 on their own

I personally feel like the Boost Clipper & Trimmer with a FX3 shaver is the best drop from Babyliss…. I have the black FXONE trimmer but I won’t buy the Clipper because it’s pointless…. One battery and no other way to charge the products without removing the battery and sitting around waiting and time is money my boosts came with the charging dock so after I’m finished with the cut I drop the clipper in the dock and pick up my trimmer to finish the cut I love it. That’s just my preference

Never tried the fx3 and wanted to try them but the red trimmer was cutting skin lol. The boost were my favorite for awhile, I had the purple ones as well & they just were sounding awful after 2 months. the traditional dock is has its perks. Im with you there, if they sold the extra battery with the products then I really wouldn't have any complaints.

@@cutsbycoast the red fx3 trimmer you just have to sit the blade back a bit because they are dangerous straight tout the box… but the fx3 shaver is hands down the best shaver in the game

What is the difference between these and the fx one lo pros? I never understood the difference. Great video!

The grey lo pros rattle & are louder than the red lo pros. But between these and those… mainly the fact that you can’t pop the top off and clean the inside at the top by the blade. They both come with the MIM blade. The grey has the blue & the red set has the black which is the same blade as this clipper here.

Did you have the grey or red ones? Red has slight improvement. The regular flashlight style clipper Fx ones are all fire!

@@cutsbycoast I had the grey, right when they came out. They’re better now? I feel like the flashlight style actually looks more comfortable to use and watching you cut with it just now that thing hits hard!

@@RyanAlca so the grey rattles like crazy when the 1 guard is on it. The red one just a little quieter, still not as quiet as the flashlight.
