-Dist. Water (25% "Water as a percent of oil weight" in soapcalc.net)
-Lye - NaOH (7% Superfat)
-Olive Oil (45%)
-Coconut Oil (30%)

This I the most beautiful soap!!! I love all the other creations and the mixes of colour! But I am a sucker for simplicity and Balak is my favourite colour. This is just perfect... the gold on top just gives it a vintage, luxurious kind of touch! I think this is one I’ll try to replicate ... 😍😍😍😍

What an amazing bar of soap. The gold mica makes the black just pop! Thanks for the other tips on water percent. I am a newby soap maker and will have to rewatch video so I can take some notes and figure out the % information too. I always wondered why you used a shifter for the lye solution and I am grateful you answered it here. Ty for your great tutorials. Now to learn to make soap. I also like that you use ice water to cool solution. I just need to learn more about percentages. Ty very much.

This was a fun soap to try. Followed everything to a T except the Mica I used clogged my sprayer so I couldn't use it and just sprinkled some on top using a fan brush.
