If you want a more casual arcade like experience its pretty fun. If you are looking for the same experience as other Ace Combat entries you may not like it.
This Ace Combat Assault Horizon is For Newcomer From CODMW. But if you want to know more about ace combat, you can play ace combat 0,4,5,6,7. Because this ace combat use real world instead Alternate world.
@meta3727 Yes, the reason why this game drew me in is because it is set in the real world (and the graphics are good). But yes a "Battle of Miami" is alot more interesting and appealing to a general audience than "Battle of Eritkseasea" or whatever the heck it is in the fictional AC games.
@@tytoalbasoren94576-2 did actually get shot down, they were just lucky enough to make it back to base. That was the Hawk Shughart and Gordon roped down from to get to 6-4.
Ace Combat Assault Horizon could have a remake and it will look amazing with alot of improvements and many things added.Their games are pretty enjoyable.
it was a extraction mission, the Apache were unnecessary. The UN mission was already inpopular and an Apache straffing civilians would have made it way worse. It was also suposed to be a short one, they didnt expect to get grounded by the Rebels.
It was a Small Unit Task Force assembled by the UN, A Special Operations Task Force to be Exact, There were Marine Corp Tank Units and Cobra gunships in the Mog but they pulled out in 1992, to be replaced by said Task Force, and Mogadishu had civilians in it, a Gun Run of Apaches is risky, Clustered Buildings and Civilians which is a Big No No for the UN.
A few reasons. 1. The mission was supposed to be an extraction mission that was supposed to take 30 minutes to an hour, so they thought an Apache would've been unnecessary. 2. They're already unpopular with the locals, so an Apache strafing the streets would've blown the top off the boiling pot, assuming it hasn't already been done. 3. The team undertaking the mission is a task force comprised of Rangers and Delta Force operators. US Marines were also stationed there along with a ton of firepower, but it was all pulled out to be replaced by the task force about a year before the mission.
There was a Cancelled Espionage Game set in Ace Combat's StrangeReal universe, where you get to play as an Osean Operative, also another one as a Sapin Infantryman but was scrapped.
@@Real_British I mean, Story was quite Decent and I don't Blame the Game since came on a Era Where almost Everybody on the industry tried to be like Call of Duty. Let the Dogfight mode alone and just Maybe, That could be one of the Best Ace Combat Games based on The Real world along side Joint Assault.
@@jesusparra8367one of the problems was that DFM was a requirement to take down certain enemies. So you had to engage with it eventually even if you didn’t want to, which it seems most series fans didn’t. But yeah Assault Horizon is an amazing ace combat game aside from that one mechanic.
Whatever they say to this game, it's still one of my childhood games I played back then on my cousin's laptop with a off-brand joystick my uncle bought, and I enjoyed playing it, and the OST of this game is also epic.
I kinda agree about it, also I kinda see that Project Wingman is better then AC7 but can’t be compared with other Ace Combat games such as 3,4,5 and 0 (those are good games in the franchise, at least for me)
@@AFGuidesHDjust a reminder that you need to play AC3 Japanese version with fan patches that translated menus to English, bcs the official release for some reason lacks any kind of cutscenes
I seriously loved this acecombat game. Only thing I didn't like was the mandatory dogfight sequence. Other than that the campaign was really solid and the story wasn't as cringe worthy as other acecombat games.
@@rpgsgamer7850 yes, same themes, lots of games are influenced by movies and as with this particular sequence in many games, they are obviously influenced by Black Hawk Down the movie
@AFGuidesHD There was a game for the PSP that was also set in the real world "Ace Combat: Joint Assault" and there was also "Ace Combat: Infinity" for the PS3, that game was a online game and the servers went offline around 2018, that game featured the real world with elements of the "Strangereal" world sprinkled on top of it.
Sheesh i hate playing this game wearing headset, all those "missile alert" "low altitude warning" drive me nuts! Especialy when playing Russian Aircrafts. But overall it's good game.
I love how they say make NATO proud after saying they're protected under a UN resolution so anyone in the free fire zone is fair game, like American soldier's care what the UN says is okay to do when bullets start flyin😅
Th DFM sections. When they worked, were good. But when they didn't are likely to slam you into the ground. Also, the CoD style health system just doesn't mesh well with the gameplay of the traditional gameplay at all.
@@blackman7166 yeah, even the game says itself 🗿 Even though this game actually has good graphics, most people didn't like the game, because there's a *"Dog fight mode"* that makes the game into an on rails game, which is highly overused and removes a lot of action, and I also didn't like it either.
