I hate the unbearable feeling of built up repression, just recently within the past 6 months I finally dealt with a lot of things that I needed to resolve and finally kicked that procrastination demon on my back and knocked loose its grip on my mentality which finally led to me speaking to the people that I needed to, people that I haven't spoken to you in years because I wasn't ready for anybody to be there for me nor was I in any way ready to be there for someone when I myself was a cracked mirror. When I finally said what needed to be said after all this time, made amends with people who might thought I'd never speak to, as well as letting go of the feeling like everything that happened was caused because I wasn't strong enough at the time to stop and uncontrollable situation that was completely out of my hands. Had to shove any emotion I had way down, making myself believe that showing emotion was a big weakness, and well finally in the time came. After all the talks apologies on both sides for holding on to the negativity for so long, the emotions just started flowing and flowing out of me and being a proud person that I am of course it irritated me that I couldn't control the times I'd start tearing up, had to learn to feel like a normal person again if you will. Following the emotions came digging into the repression that I had built up. Doing a complete 1080 with my choices in life as well as not passing up opportunities to spend with my family that I have left, it was a very relieving feeling my breathing pattern my very outlook on life everything just changed it's hard to explain but I can tell you for the first time in over 5 and 1/2 years being able to genuinely smile about something and being genuinely happy, it was a very rough past. Yes. But overall I can now look forward and keep going without having a thought of looking back and I'll tell you that is one of the best feelings no more weights no more blinds of course I'm talking mentally but it is okay to voice your opinions and outlooks and true feelings if that's what you want, to do. Just don't be afraid to make that come into fruition. It is okay to cry, it is okay to be angry, it is okay to be human. What isn't okay it's holding on to everything, blaming yourself for everything even for things you have no control of. What isn't okay is putting yourself down giving you self doubt, withholding all emotion, and normalizing it. Not speaking to the only people that care about you, making them feel even worse when all you need is them in the moment and all they need is you. Don't hold on to things for 5 and 1/2 years, anything can happen in that time don't waste your life. I'm sorry for this really long post but I can say I know how Ryan feels and mad respect to him for him being there. And of course the respect to his mom telling him that it's okay ,because it is okay to cry. As well as his grandfather, holding it together.... And there goes and uncontrollable teardrop down my cheek lol. Anyways I hope you all have a good day! You are all granted the rank of Master. As Always May the force be with us all...
