I have this C.D. and I am still listening to this song, June 1, 2021. This song takes me back to the early 70's when I was in high school. I wish I could go back into time to that era. High School Class of 1973.
not hating but the groups they put on Unsung is pathetic, most were at best with few exceptions were on or 2 hit wonders. unfortunaltely that show is geared to youngins.
This music is classic, timeless. The soundtrack of our lives. We were the Brothers and Sisters blessed to be living and loving in the 70s. I was in college. I had a girl then and was young and let her get away. It seems those times have slipped away as well. Things are not as pure and cool now as they were then. Too many left turns I guess. But the jams, the parties, the guys and gals, the life we had then. We always will have the memories. And tight groups like Black Ivory are the keys to returning to those special days. They remind us. When we were hot, and we were cool. Live like you know what's up. Love hard. Take a chance. Offer your heart to someone special. Dream big. And "Don't Turn Around".
Yesss sir, you already know ,I myself was blessed by God to have experienced the Era of the lovely 70s, Mann I truly miss those days and times oh no doubt. So when I want to take a stroll down memory lane I just play my wide variety of my 70s jamzs and instantly I'm in that frame of mind. Godbless us all and have a blessed day everyone.
This song is older than that, I was 14 when this song came out, it was one of the favorite blue lights in the basement hits that came on at the parties we went to and slow dragged with a cute girl. I am 66 now but those were wonderful days. Black Ivory were like that!

TRUE CLASSIC BLACK SOUL MUSIC AT IT'S BEST TRULY TREASURED MUSIC OF THE 70'S MOVEMENT. YOU HAD TO BE THERE TO EXPERIENCE THIS MUSIC, THE BASEMENT PARTIES WITH THE BLACK LIGHTS, WHILE YOU AND YOU DANCING PARTNER DID THE "DIP" TO THIS VERY SONG. WOW.
It's 2022 now, and I'm in my 63rd yr of life, and so much has happened in my life since the age of 12, when this album came out; and I'm still listening & remembering the little scrappy girl, and her scrappy friends & frenemies 🤸🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️👩🏽🦳🎶
1972 the year of love and understanding good to see the brother Still bless black lvory really talk back in the day peace and love my brother's stay bless don don Reese from stlouis
My favorite was Love is Time, but the more I listen to the rest of the songs, they remind me of college, being low income, and parties at someone's house in the neighborhood. Slow dragging with the cute guy and wonder whatever happened to him.
You know you're getting old when you hear this classic song on the radio and can't remember who sings it - especially when your buddy gives you the B and the I as clues. Old age, here I am. Wherever these dudes are now, I hope life is good for them.
If this was released in 1971, I'm going to bet this came out of Philadelphia because it has a "Delfonic-Philly" sound to it, and that can ONLY mean ONE thing: It's a production of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff.....DAMN GOOD HIT!...I Love it.
KUDOS TO YOU DUDES!!!! IT was a different era back in the 70s with fantastic LOVE songs! you AND I ,WHAT ELSE TO SAY TO MY LOVE SADIE ,NOW THAT YOU ARE ASLEEP IN DEATH.THANK YOU for the 10 years of LOVE AND TRUTH.R I P LADY!!!!

I always thought that the man in front, on this album cover was the lead singer, when in fact, it is actually the brother at the back. I would love to see a 'where are they now ' segment. something tells me that there is a very interesting back story.
I was only 7, but I was a pimp from 7-12 & can't recall this group. Maybe Blue Magic , I'm thànkful f9r those thàt hàve a chàñçe to go back in time with peace love and soul(music)..
