Ever since 6th job came out, people are raising the expected dps to above 80 b/s, although its okay if u can't hit blue in BM, u are still able to start liberation if u can survive til the end and this is the same for subsequent months, just remember to accept the liberation quest or turn it in before starting another BM run. Another thing is that the arcane force required for BM is 1320 for 100%, and since u are at 1300, u only deal 80% of what was shown in the BA u did in this video. As for the BA itself, in the left panel, under map requirements, u can choose arcane force, type in 1320, and press "settings" (remember this), then u can start the BA. This is not needed if u have between 1320~1450 AF (its 100% anyway) but its something u should know if u wanna tackle end-game bosses after Black Mage because so many people dont know how to set this up properly. P/s: hyperstat can give up to 100 AF, put some points in it when u want to redo BA or contribute damage to the party
I'm not too sure how much of a struggle run your party wants the bm clear to be but I don't think you'll need to worry about the 5% damage requirement for rewards if that's one of your main goals/concerns. You are actually right in the sense of the gear you currently have is WAY more than enough to contribute meaningful damage in a full party for black mage. The biggest thing about black mage is being able to survive the duration of the actual run whether you clear it slowly or quickly! Maplestory is kind of at the point where a good chunk of players now have decent legions, and so with also having the Arcane Force requirement, 6th job and decent gear you can almost always clear within that 1 hour -- assuming everyone can survive that 1 hour. That is where the REAL struggle lie. I think it would be fun to see you upload some of the struggle runs of black mage since in my opinion it is a really enjoyable and rewarding fight. P.S if you are really worried about not dealing enough damage, during your real/practice runs you can pop a Battle analysis (every boss phase since it turns off once the phase is over so you'll need to repop it every time you go into a new phase). The 5% threshhold of BM is ~23.5T damage, but since the boss has shields a safe bet would be ~25T - 27T Good luck!!

reminder for BA, you dont want to AB 2x. the reason for the full rotation BA is burst to burst. so you don't want to pop skills again if they aren't going to be up for the next burst. you can also end BA when main burst skill is up again, which will be less than 2 min if you have a mercedes at all on legion.
ok so a few important things to point out: * you forgot to put arcane force in the BA settings, which damaged your dps output * level 275 is only the 2nd and 3rd phase of black mage. p1 and p4 are level 265! but p2 and p3 are the deadliest so i guess it is the most important settings to overcome * as a fellow hurricane class, putting your requirements the same as someone who benefit from 0 attack speed is illegal(meme) its like competing in a marathon vs someone who has +5 perm movement speed xD, so dont beat yourself up and compare it to their standard, if you are close to the bar you are basically there :)
Hey Daboki, i STRONGLY recommend you get the KRRR ring from stellar detectives. Black mage can one shot you during the FMA if you don't have it since bowmaster has no s or dark sight!
60bp/s is super struggle, wouldn't recommend it the run will be at least 40 mins. 100bp/s across all 6 party members should be a sub 20 min run! Defo doable, goodluck!
Why are you on a maple video if you're just going to doom? Your feelings towards the game do not matter at all. As long as he's enjoying the game and progressing, your input doesn't matter at all.
