I used to have a pet mongoose which me and my girlfriend raised him since he was just a tiny little baby only a few day old. He grew to be friendly only with us two and would bite everyone else with his sharp teeth. The little guy slept in the same room we did in his open cage and would jump to the bed, ran under the blanket and came out on the other end and nipped our noses to wake us up at 6 am. sharp every day.

I think the winner from the mamba fight was the one who went to the bushes - maybe the female was there. Did you notice the other one left the fight 1st? It backed up. And the bushmaster actually did manage to press its head down couple of times just before it gave up.
