On the Confederate Flag: to the majority of the South is is no longer about racism. It is about a tie to your southern roots, and being proud to be from the South. Not matter your race, skin color, creed or nationality. It is about loving where you come from, and not being ashamed of being Southern born. When black people fly it, I don't think it is because they are ignorant. I think it shows that they can overcome, and still be proud to be from the South. Just the same as you wearing a Lakers jersey because you are a fan and you are proud to say that you are.
Biggest thing about the confederacy was to rebel against government because of high taxes and other issues arising at the time and people forget that the civil war wasn't about slavery until Abraham lincoln made it so because that's what appeared the general public and got supporters to find the way cause in reality the north was about to lose
The confederate flag was never about slavery it was about being from the South, most Southerners didn’t have slaves (Hell they could barely survive) and those are the ones who had no choice but to fight. Remember the civil war was started because ELITES from the South that was backed by France 🇫🇷 U.K. 🇬🇧 Canada 🇨🇦 and (the spy headquarters for the Confederate Army was in 🇨🇦 Canada) a couple other nations wanted to split the country, President Abraham Lincoln (Republican) was smart to add the emancipation of slaves after the civil war had already started because most Americans (even many in the South) wanted it but their were Northerners (democratic politicians and voters) that were more racist and didn’t want blacks living amongst them. General Robert E. Lee (who never owned slaves) was considered Americans best General was asked by President Abraham Lincoln to lead the North, he declined because he knew that most of the young men and boys going to fight were poor Southerners and he wouldn’t abandon them!!!!!! If the South was so racist then you’d think they would’ve just started killing Black Americans (like the genocides in WWII and in Africa between nations and tribes in the 1990’s) but it didn’t happen because racism wasn’t a huge Americans issue amongst common folks (the Democrats were behind the racism and today they use it as another why to control certain people that don’t understand history or the truth)!!!!!!! England started slavery here and they purchased Black tribes that had been captured during war by the most powerful Black African tribe and were sold by them to others and the Arabs. The Arabs purchased many and sold most of them, people seem to forget (or pretend to) that 16-18 percent that came here (USA) and the other 86-88 percent went to South, Central America along with Mexico (amazing how that’s never discussed). Arabs still have slavery and Mexico (cartels) Central and South America still has a huge problem with slavery (both sexual and forced labor) nowadays. We need to work on stopping the growing trafficking of slaves that’s happening right now, whether it’s sexual or labor slavery of young children and young adults and it’s happening right here in the USA 🇺🇸!!!!!!!!! The media doesn’t want to talk about the real problem’s going on, they’re to busy pushing the elites narrative and propaganda!!!!!!! We have to remember real history and that the Democrats started the KKK, were behind segregation and fought to try and keep blacks from voting, it’s amazing how MLK Jr. (republican) was always reminding Black Americans the truth and that no politician can fix your life, but now they’re literally spitting on his grave. He was right that a person should be judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin, yet now the leftists (actually Marxists) are saying the opposite!!!!!!!
I'm black and yes I do fly the rebel flag not confederate its rebel or Dixie and no it does not stand for racism anymore but I get your point and understand
Hello I'm a half black and half white American and for me the Confederate flag has never been used in any racist way against me! I personally fly my stars and bars flag with pride because I'm proud to be from the south!
Liberalism is the cause of a lot of problems, Most liberals like the idea of the society being the issue. Therefore they like the idea of society taking credit for actions of people (Like criminals. "He is a product society"). Libertarians, so close to liberals in name sake, but not even close in beliefs. The libertarians like the constitution, they like their rights. They are most likely to fight for their rights considering conservatism didn't exist till the 1900s. Conservatives, conservatives are closest to Libertarians, except they want their rights and to be left alone. (Currently conservatives are fighting the most, because when you push a group enough they will eventually be pushed to the edge and will explode) Therefore they are often called erratic and seem to be the worst, they in faith and namesake are not even close. Religion is important, conservatives believe that regardless of it if they are atheists, Christians, Catholics, or anything else. At the end of the day, all sides are bad, and no one should define themselves any which way, it gets you stuck in a trap of being against everyone else. Today if you are conservative you HAVE to be against Liberals, You have to hate them, and they have to hate you. The system is using us against each other, we aren't fighting the system anymore, why do you think they are pushing for a federal mask mandate (Which is illegal), why are they continuing to lockdown the country (When starvation kills more than the coronavirus), why are they not handing out the money that we paid for? (McConnell vetoing the 2k$) When we all realize that they are all against us, republican, democrat; We can finally do exactly what Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed of. And yes I didn't copy paste this.
@@tonyravioli1982 I'm a libertarian conservative, but true liberalism is good and accepting. The left has twisted and separated itself from actual liberalism.
Conservatives just want to work, raise their families and be left alone. We can get along with anyone and we are willing to talk to here the other side.
Confederate flag is a southern pride thing. True southerners fly it for where they have come from and proud of it .. not racist most of us have black friends who fly it as well. I think racism is ignorant as hell. RHEC 🤘🏻 love the reaction video.
I’m white & live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and my black neighbor 2 doors down flies it. We get together at least once a month to watch football together or just grill or help each other mechanically with our cars. I never even associated racism with the rebel flag until the last year when a bunch of hippies told me that I was r- if I didn’t agree with their divisive Commie ideology. We fly it for our Southern culture. Heck, I never even flew the Southern flag until a few months ago when I had enough of being called every name in the book and dammit, this is ‘merica so it’s on my house now. Full Disclosure : I was born in a Communist country in Eastern Europe and nope, not gonna let that happen here.
Confederate flag \= southern cross Southern cross was flown to show respect for those who died, now it is just a cultural heritage thing that some yankees don’t understand, not being from the south. Plenty who fly or have it aren’t racist, it’s just an emblem of the south.
Welcome to the rabbit hole my friends. Just like Calhoun, there ain't a racist bone in his body, even though he reps Southern Pride. Probably the most versatile artist you'll ever come across.
Also, if we came to another civil war it shouldn't be about race or religion. It should be about social and societal views. If we had to choose a side of the people or the government, guarantee we'd pick each other over the government. Also, kudos on the Daughters of the Confederacy reference. Ideology vs actions are where we find a true common ground.
Furthermore your comments on BLM, Tom Macdonald addressed it in your last video that you also acknowledged. BLM has gotten so far away from its original intent that now white folks can't support it anymore because it took a far left turn its not taken as seriously. Sorry for the comments, just following along the video! Lol
Bruh!!!!! If a woman becomes president simply because she's a woman, thats the definition of sexism lmao Last comment as the video ends. Really appreciate your perspective brother. Keep it up!!!!!!
Black Lives Matter was put together by George Soros and other Rick white Democratic men to push racism and keep us the people at odds. BLM is all funded by rich white men. Look it up.
@@CloutKillz you would actually be incorrect on the founding and start of BLM. The BLM movement started in 2013 when George Zimmerman was acquitted by Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi. It started when Garza began writing a series of post on facebook. In the last post she wrote, “black people. I love you. I love us. Our lives matter" her friend Cullors responded to the post saying “#BlackLivesMatter.” their friend Tometi gave it support. Between these 3 ladys and their persistent is how BLM started.
Man's a beast i think it's great that not only has he done that but also has his youtube channel documenting his independent rise without loosing what made him in the first place...like supporting others doing the same thing so long as they are willing to put in the work

I am a CONSERVATIVE and I feel that black lives matter would have been a great organization. Unfortunately, the liberals and democrats had to get involved and destroyed any respect that people may have had for BLM. I also believe that an organization should be started to help reduce crime in black neighbor hoods, now that is RESECT and an organization I would strongly agree with. I also believe that all these college kids need educated better than they have been. All organizations need to stay out of politics. God Bless
I am not a black or white man. I am only a man. I did not choose to look the same/different as/from you. Yet I carry the scars of battle, the embarrassment of defeat, the humiliation of deception, the hatred for treachery, the outrage of injustice, the regret of evil actions, the shame of prejudice, the burden of being a historian and teacher, knowledge of self, the light of truth, strength of body and mind to triumph, the indomitable will to continue the struggle, the need to be loved if only by oneself,, the capacity to forgive, intelligence to understand and the hope for something better of my ancestors. And I still burnt my pancake this morning. 😠
Alot of the northern states had plantations and black people had plantations to and they said the southern states were easy and they were treated way worse in the north than the south and the war was because they were getting taxed and their export going to England
The flag as we know it was born not as a symbol, but as a very practical banner. The commanders of the Confederate army in Virginia (then known at the Army of the Potomac) sought a distinctive emblem as an alternative to the Confederacy’s first national flag-the Stars and Bars-to serve as a battle flag. The Stars and Bars, which the Confederate Congress had adopted in March 1861 because it resembled the once-beloved Stars and Stripes, proved impractical and even dangerous on the battlefield because of that resemblance. (That problem was what compelled Confederate commanders to design and employ the vast array of other battle flags used among Confederate forces throughout the war.)Battle flags become totems for the men who serve under them, for their esprit de corps, for their sacrifices. Just stating my opinion. Much love and respect y'all, love y'all's reactions.
Understand that but that flag means different things to the Southern country people and the hillbillies love that flag we don't look at it has racism I understand what you're saying and I agree but people got that flag all f***** up and twisted it doesn't mean racism back then yes it might have today in these days we fly the rebel flag because we are Rebels and we like to have a good time that's why I fly my flag everyday I don't give a damn about a skin color shit we can drink a beer together black white hispanic it doesn't matter I love all people just because I rock the rebel flag doesn't mean I'm racist because I love everybody as I love myself
Respect man! I’m a conservative and I can agree with just about everything you said, and like you said, even the things I disagree with, I still respect. It’s crazy when the right has become the true party of tolerance. As long as you aren’t disrespectful to myself and loved ones, or aren’t hurting innocent people and our country, idgaf! Most conservatives just want to be left alone. You’ve got a good head on your shoulders G! Keep it up and God bless.
My 3rd great grandfather was drafted into the confederate army under penalty of loss of property and value, he marched to Virginia leaving 6 children and a wife to farm 600 acres of land with 0 slaves. He never returned home he was KIA and buried in Oakwood Cemetery, the battle flag and those monuments to myself represent the duty and sacrifice that he made and others like him with no other option. An attack on a flag and a monument without understanding what it might represent rationally to someone is why we are at these crossroads in this country. I dont fly that flag often but i can promise when i do it represents pride of my ancestors like my grandfather and the resolve that these men had in the face of destruction.
My black friends rock the confederate flag because that is their heritage, and it shows that we can overcome adversity, have a hard row to hoe, and still make it out the other side. We are proud of being from the south. Its not just a white thing.
The daughters of the confederacy paid for a statue in my home town to remember fallen confederate soldiers. The town council recently voted to take it down. I guess that soldier's struggles will be forgotten.
Man I have to give you props you have replied to the same sentences over and over again. While probably not sharing their view you still show respect. I hope you achieve great things man we need more people like you.
Blm is definitely an organization. It didn't start that way but that's how it is now. Love you opinions for sure! Keep speaking fam. Very conservative here, i want to thank you for the open mindedness. Also want to thank you for bringing a couple topics to light for me. IMO this is the best way for everyone to come together, we need to speak and also listen to each other. We have radicalist on both sides of the political spectrum and it is sad. Everyone needs to come together and fight the people destroying this great country, the media. Malcolm X had a wonderful quote about the media, "If you are not careful, the newspaper will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing"
All 3 are good...and I agree it was with in a week or 2 of YZ hitting youtube that I noticed everyone at work either start asking me if I'd heard of him or would hear me listening to one of his albums in my car and ask if it was "that guy"

One of the things I love about Church is he speaks what he sees. He doesn’t judge people on their skin colour, gender or anything. He judges people based on their character and that’s how it should be.
Also my guy regardless of if I ever disagree with you I don’t care because you have a right to think and say what you want. Btw I am conservative and I did vote for Trump.
Omg.... I'm 25 white in color not that long since I've been in school but I just read UDC and never learned as much as I did right now. I'm completely taken off guard and I learned that I was ignorant as well I've always preached if we talk about equality then we need to stand united without color like they Afro Negro collage Foundation but I know understand the UDC had one in place for white children to reproduce more racist to further their cause.. There's so much running through my head right now... I'll keep in touch thank you
I would like to say the “confederate flag” is actually the Virginia battle flag and that’s what we fly today I would never fly the confederate flag. The names just got changed
None of the flags ever represented racism or slavery, and for the battle flag, it was used by all states of the Confederate States of America, it did however originate in the Army of Northern Virginia.
We do what we do for our kids!! Ill give my last to give all kids another chance to really know love in ones self and for respect of others. It starts with us in home!

The biggest problem we have is that people listen to the media and what they want us to believe. Instead of learning the real history. You are definitely telling the truth. We need to stand together and stop all the fighting among ourselves
The sad thing is that history will always repeat its self in due time and peopld will wonder why its happening again and its because you are removing history and the only way people learn is by making mistakes and if you dont leave the opportunity to learn from the mistakes then you are encouraging the past to come back into the future
I'm new but me and my family love listening to y'alls reactions. Highly suggest to listen to klonopin by adam calhoun. Just heard it yesterday and I loved it. Really would love to hear yalls opinion.
#RHEC it just means Raise Hell Eat Cornbread and I'll gladly look up the daughter of Confederates but just to let you know the Confederate flag doesn't stand for what it did, hell not at all. And I know it feels like it's disproportionated but its because you only are showed one side on the media and news. And for the Obama comment I just hated Obama based on his politics. I hated the stupid wars and a couple of other things.
While I agree with 98% of this comment. I have to ask have you personally met Obama?...... because if not how can you hate him based solely on his opinion/view in the political sense? I can get behind not agreeing with him but not judging him personally based on his veiws
@@ashersdad1755 I can’t say I hate Obama because I don’t know him but what I can do is say that I don’t believe that I would like him as a person and I despise what he stands for. He sent our military into Libya and we never should have been there. As a matter of fact you had military members willingly take dishonorable discharge because they refused to kill these people for political reasons.
You just got a new subscriber. I agree we must remember in order to not repeat. We dont honor atrocities we honor heroes and victims that rose above it. Imho great reaction btw love having the fam involved.
I have to disagree on the Cops not being held accountable. Majority of the time if it was unjustified the Cop will get charged. If it is Justified he will get off. Either way it does not happen as much as people think. The main problem with Cops are the lack of training they have. The money is not spent on them. So this whole bs about defunding the Police make no sense. They need the funding redirected towards the actual officers for better training which majority of them want. BLM is a organization under definition.
I will add one personal thought that police need to be willing to police their own in order to weed out the over zealous or down right bad police. They are the minority but get the majority of the attention. Makes them look bad.
You are doing amazing work and I like all your content keep pushing forward and keep up the hard work fam wish you well hope you stay safe out here fam

I’ll speak openly I’m a former Democrat that left the party and became a Trump supporter in 2016. I have three young boys and all I think about is their future and what the country will look like 20-30 years from now. I’m sure both political parties have racists in their group but I’d denounce any type of hatred and racism. We are all so blessed and yet we can’t seem to get along and I truly believe the soul reason is the hatred, anger and division created and sensationalized by the main stream media controlled by the elite top 1%. If you really think about it united we are an extreme threat to anyone not wanting to lose their power hold over us. So they keep us angry and divided fighting each other taking any chance away of us uniting against the system that divides us. By the way your argument for Black Lives Matter and the righteousness of their cause is the best explanation I’ve heard.
I never stood behind slavery, and always thought it was disgusting that we as humans even started that; but I will always stand for history. We can NOT remove history, or we will eventually be doomed to forget and repeat it. My grandparents took me to many places across the south to learn more hands on, about the history, from the native Indians, to the slaves, plantations and underground railroads. To me, I feel like one of the common misconceptions about confederate soldiers, is that all of them supported slavery. Granted, a majority of them did, there were still a small number of people who were fighting just to defend their homes from the atrocities of the north. Both sides did horrible things during the war, but many of people were murdered, homes and towns burnt to the ground, women and children raped and either killed or left for dead. I can't remember who it was exactly, but there was a general for the north, who was infamous for his 'scorched earth' policy, where they burnt everything they went through. Which was later adopted by the confederacy once they started losing. These kind of things ended up scaring a lot of people to join the fight, just to try and protect their families and homes. There were recently two monuments taken down where I live, one of them actually kind upsets me, the other i can understand. One statue was of one of the confederate generals, ok sure, but the other was just a monolith with hundreds of names of people who died, something i feel shouldn't have been removed. Yes the UDC may have wanted us to remember the statues, but it's up to us to remember them in a different way, rather than "the south was right". People, even if they were misguided and wrong for how they thought, still had lives. When I look at the confederate flag, or confederate monuments, not only do i remember and acknowledge the bad things from the past, but I also remember one of Americas bloodiest and most deadliest wars. Many people died for stupid reasons, we shouldn't have had to shed blood to know slavery was wrong, but we must remember that we as humans are strong and can stand together to defeat many evils in the world.
So I never really comment much on RU-vid but watching your videos, I have felt compelled to speak on something. I instantly subscribed to yalls channel because I have such a high respect for your open mind. We are seeing such division right now and it's all because people don't care to listen to each other about how their feeling or what they are thinking. And being a biracial person being raised by my southern family, it's amazing the closed minded people I have ran into in my life.. Mad respect to you and your family and keep up the good reactions. People overlook the fact that slaves go sold by their parents and in exchange they came and worked in harsh environments for land in 20 years, which is considered the american dream and Thats the part no one likes to look at. They only got beaten by their choices of not working and arguing.

I’m from alabama. Growing up everyone had rebel flags around me. Race was never a thought when having or seeing one. It was always being proud of being from the south and being country. I never thought it had anything to do with hate. I also have a gun from the Civil War. Would it also be an item of hate, would it matter if it was from the north or the south. Before the last election I thought racism was almost gone. Now I know it is still out there but I really believed in people so much that I thought people was basically good and would not hate based off of color. I wished there was more debates on the subject without media influence and I think we can figure out the real problems and fix them on both sides.
The Confederate flag is a symbol of that rebel spirit. It's that rebel yell. The Civil war was really a war of two different wars. History books only teach us about the war against slavery, but that was only a war between rich men. The south was a farming economy, and many lives were being hit hard by the north constantly trying to pay less and less for crops. This already had much of the poor whites of the south quite angery. Then comes the war and you have the north invading the south. They come in, confenscate crops, burn fields, and all other things that come with war. You see the second war, the one not tought in history books, was a war of people tired of being forgot and then trampled on by an invading army. The Confederate flag for them is symbol about a south fighting a government that didn't care for them and then came into THIER land and threatened thier lives and livelihoods and about how they told the north YOU DON'T BELONG HERE and we will fight.
Thank you for your honest and genuine reaction. As a conservative I agreed with your points. Talking theses issues out keeps US moving forward. Most conservatives are very open minded just misunderstood. God bless and you have one more subscriber. 🙏🙏
When you realize that your Mississippi raised mother taught you the confederate daughters language even though you were raised in California as an "accepting of others" person. The only reason it didn't affect me the same way as my siblings is cause she and I think differently about everything. I'm the hippie dreamer that she thinks lives in a non reality. I see her as a pacifist who would rather complain and do nothing about it cause she doesn't think it'll happen. Love her very much but I am not going to be the next generation of the Daughters of the Confederacy. Thanks for the info!! Learning something new everyday!! To put it in short language, the daughter's of the confederacy did a cold war on their own country and succeeded.

I have a rebel flag I bought it when I was 14 it hangs above my bed at my dads house I don't fly it, I think all lives matter the flag to me doesn't represent the Confederate anymore.
