Not being funny but you cut out THE LEAN!! Why, I have no idea, but people forget he was one of the most sampled artists ever. There's snippets of him in many many songs over the years. Imagine how fresh this short movie is now...now picture what it was like for us 35 years ago!! There's everything great about MJ in this short movie - the moonwalk, moonwalk on the spot, the breakdancing, the fedora, the plasters on fingers. The man was so iconic and that's why he dominated the entertainment industry.
Fun fact: Smooth Criminal is the only short music video/film where Michael does the iconic moonwalk It would have made more sense if it was done in Billie Jean. As he mostly breaks it out in his "live" performance 💞🎶👑
@Ayaan Bret Mitchell well obviously lmao. You clearly didn't read my comment properly. I'm just saying it would have made more sense, and the video would've been even better. Michael chose motown to showcase it, and that's fine. It's my opinion which I'm expressing
I'm pretty sure through your many years around (Halloween) you have hear MJ Thriller....there are plenty of his music samples in different stores, commercials, radio stations and so on.
Where do I even START with the recommendations?!! If you want more amazing music videos I definitely recommend Remember The Time, Black or White, (of course) Thriller, Earth Song, Another Part of me, Dirty Diana If you want live performances then check out his 1995 MTV performance, 1988 Grammy performance, and Man in the Mirror live in Bucharest. Enjooooooooyyyyy
Ummmm... Two things. #1, this isn't the full video and you ABSOLUTELY have to watch that one. #2, ten years ago, if you'd just said, "Annie, are you OK?" to almost anyone of a certain age (on Earth! lol), you'd have found out what song you were looking for... but welcome to the party now. You're in for one helluva ride 😆.
A propos rap, MJ also recorded song with Ice Cube and Shaquille O'Neal (he only sings on refren), and altghough it was never officially released this demo is on youtube - "We Be Ballin' (Unreleased) - Michael Jackson, Ice Cube, Shaquille O'Neal". Mj also had rappers on some of his songs, you can check for example Unbreakable with Notorious B.I.G
his music videos were always special and exciting and unique, unfortunately today all we get are groups of women shaking their asses to the beat and thats it in both male and female artists songs . why can't we see more like this today everything is generic
