+Dylan Heid: Ditto. Post from 2 weeks ago explains it better than that whole clip: "it portrays modern society, particularly in regards to the unanticipated consequences of new technology."
Wassup Yo ....OMG ..I WAS SO GLAD I FOUND THIS COMMENT ..I DONT FEEL AS STUPID ... WATCHED THE WHOLE DAMN TRAILER AND HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE MOVIE WAS ABOUT..WHAYS THE GUY IN THE GLASS ROOM FOR...WTF IS IN THEIR EYEBALL.. WHY HE KEEP PLAYIN WITH HIS KEYS...ARE THEY HAVING SEX....WHATS FUNNY...MY HEAD HURTS...
Then it did its job, all the episodes work best of you don't know the premise going in. It's aim is to just intrigue you not spoil any of the storylines
Pretty sad if you think that. Even if you were not serious, people have been serious and it just goes to show you how stupid people have become. Bunch of brain washed idiots. And this isn't anything new, the difference now is that this effects way more than just Hollywood and Hollywood is where this parasite should have stayed.
@@skyelark155 this is an anthology tv series, with each episode telling a difrent story and it did not show anything so that the story gives you more of an impact, of course you wont understand what is going on in the trailer
Wait... is this a fan-made trailer? Holy smokes... I've seen all three episodes, and if this is fan-made... wow, you just did Charlie Brooker proud. That's the most birilliant fan-made trailer I've ever seen. It's just... well, gosh... I think it's absolutely perfect. It spoils nothing, teases everything... good grief, it's perfect. I'm honestly stunned at how goddamned perfect this is. Shit.
***** Hey, it's well-deserved praise from me. I've shared this with a dozen people who haven't seen Black Mirror, and now they all want to watch it. So, on top of being everything I said it was, it's also EFFECTIVE. So, again, awesome work.
+Dan Williams Yeah, I'm going to agree. I haven't heard of it, and two of my friends recommended it, so, naturally, after googling, it brought me here. I haven't seen/heard/watched anything else, and now I'm going to watch it. Great job @UFO314!
Holy smokes.. I thought this is an official trailer till the last screen showed up.. Fan made? Man, this is so fucking well produced, that I could never even consider this to be a fan made: has absolutely astonishing editing, the rise of temptation, the soundtrack, special effects.. It's perfect, a job done more than just splendid. You've made a perfect trailer for an amazing show, and I don't think anyone could make better. Keep it up!
Your an egotistical moron who thinks he's better than everyone else ain't ya! Don't waste your precious time watching a single episode yoof go an try break dancing on M25 or under-water ferret wrestling without a snorkel you flipping muppet!!!!
INTJ-Sigma-Male The fact that you based ur opinion on a trailer kinda reflects the very same approach and social standing black mirror comments on through its sharp and eerily accurate descriptions of where we're at as a society. You, my friend, must 100% experience Black Mirror. It isn't passive viewing. It's experiencing. Can't think of anything that even comes remotely close to it.
INTJ-Sigma-Male Oh and I wouldn't blame you, as the 1st episode left me pretty grossed out and I am so glad I saw that episode 3rd or 4th in line - I started with S3 E1 (Nosedive), then went to S1 E3 (Entire History of You) & after those I saw the 1st, and had I seen that one 1st, I really doubt I'd continue as I have done, as S1 E2 really, really broke me. Bloody hell! But it made such a solid statement bout X Factor (or other reality kinda shows) & just how certain things are bombarding our head space and influencing us, that I still strongly recommend that. Just glad I didn't initially go in order!! Hope you do give the others a chance :)
***** I'm very easily scared and hate horror shows etc, is this show scary? I really want to watch it because I love things that portray a possible future, but I really can't watch it if I'll have nightmares because of it haha.. So is it? Scary?
Kristin Hovde I wouldn't say it is scary, I also hate horror shows and I loved Black Mirror. It just makes you think a lot and leaves you shocked. You definitely should watch it, it's amazing ! :)
Kristin Hovde Not the horror type of scary, there is no jumpscares and shit, the only thing that can scary you is the thought about that this can really happen in the future
I think it's almost impossible to create a trailer of BM for people who have never seen the show before. Then again, as a fan of the show, this ties everything together in the best way possible. Incredible work, had no idea it was fanmade until the ending!
It might not spoil anything, but it sure as hell didn't make me any wiser on what sort of series this is. Aside from "Things are all futuristic and wrong."
+A. Rhewpawen So true, I have no idea what the show is about, I'm curious after hearing a lot how good the show is, but this trailer is really off putting.
Well that's pretty much it. Each episode is self contained so you can't really sum them up without going into detail for each one which spoils it. The connecting theme in them all is that technology might not be taking us in a direction we want to go. That's really all you need to know. It's one of the greatest TV shows of the 21st century and there are only 7 episodes. I highly reccommend it.
This show has the most amazing stories....sometimes after an episode, I think back and I’m like, “How did they come up with that writing?” It’s amazing.
To anyone who came here, watched the trailer, got confused and decided to leave: You are probably missing out one of the best shows you can ever watch in your lifetime And if you still insist that you are going to pass on this show Then I guess this show is not made for you from the beginning It's natural selection process
The trailer didn't make me want to watch the show when I saw it some time ago, but I just saw some scenes used in a tv show and now I'm keen to start it ^^ (I had the same thing with Ben Stiller's movie : Miity, awful trailer but very good movie !)
One of the best philosophical shows I have ever watched. Each episode is a new story, so there is no connection. But the tales are amazing. Representing the extremes of modern society. DEFINETLY WORTHWHILE!
+UmCaralnteressante putting pressure on the Prime Minister or anyone else, doesn't matter, to do this shit... seriously they considered it? wouldn't be better only accept the death of Princess? you can not condemn or force someone to do this to save other, or is this shit in English law? law or not, it is hurting the dignity and human freedom..
Guilherme araújo And letting an innocent girl die wouldn't hurt human freedom? They had no garantee that they would free her, but they had a garantee that they would kill her if the pig wasn't fucked, so there's that. It's a bizarre yet polarizing dilemma.
JUAT WATCHED FIRST 4 EPISODES....BLEW ME AWAY...FINALLY GOOD BRITISH DRAMA AGAIN..WALKS RIGHT UP AND SMACKS YOU IN THE MOUTH....10 STARS OUT OF 5 FUCKING BRILLIANT
hands down the best tv series I have ever watched.. Episode 3 : In Memoriam / The Entire History of You is by far the most moving episode I have seen in my life
@@Dman3827 Haha. Weird to see a comment from 5 years ago. I don't think I was enamered with the doomsday aspect. More of an engaging artistic display of potential outcomes to avoid.
In 2013 Robert Downey, Jr. optioned the episode "The Entire History of You" (written by Jesse Armstrong) to potentially be made into a film by Warner Bros. and his own production company, Team Downey.-wikipedia
When I first saw black mirror on Netflix as something to watch I thought it was a horror show...... I was right... I just never knew the horror it referred to is inside me and all around me.....
Most outstanding show I’ve seen in a LONG time! The best episodes in my opinion are USS Callister, Hated in the Nation, Hang the DJ, and Black Museum 🙂
Like everyone else. I thought this was a real trailer, AMAZING. After watching the whole series, this trailer perfectly covers the emotions in each episode. Sure it's kinda confusing.. Very confusing if you have no idea whats going on, but that's a common theme in Black Mirror: partially for entertainment, mostly for education of how messed up our society is. 10/10 I recommend ANYONE to watch This!!! It actually my favorite TV series.
Dark Tenka It says so at the end. I personally think this show is really good, but I can acknowledge that it isn't for everyone. The trailer really doesn't showcase whats good about the show so if you really want to know what its about and form an opinion, I'd recommend watching an episode.
And probably completely incomprehensible to anyone who hasn't seen the show. There is no way to know that the trailer covers three separate episodes of an anthology series, with entirely different casts and plots for each one. Nonetheless, the trailer, IMHO, has enough fascinating snippets to bring in new viewers. And I add my own recommendation to that. See Black Mirror.
Cara Santa Maria mentioned this on an episode of Joe Rogan Experience podcast; I was curious and looked it up. Just finished watching the first 3 episodes. Such an GREAT AWESOME SHOW! Why can't we have this kind of programming in the U.S.?
I was thinking what a cool concept this would make for a movie, but with the quality of tv shows now, I redacted and thought that that would sooo limiting. Need to see this.
So I'm only now hearing or learning of this Black Mirror series? I thought it was a movie but I'm only now learning of this cause of the new Netflix one...is it the same thing? Same writers? Continuation? Is this one interactive too??? Just wondering. About to go Google it but still wanted to ask.
Every time I watch an episode expecting a certain scenario i finish it completely baffled , amazed, terrified, and completely the opposite of what i was predicting i definitely recommend people ho haven't watched black mirror to check it out
GREAT SHOW. bad trailer. This makes it look like an actual TV series with one world one plot one cast of characters. It's actually an anthology (think Twilight Zone) of different stories, which are all pretty fucking mindblowing. But if you want to give this a preview, watch the one called HISTORY OF YOU or something to that equivalent. I started with the 1st episode which I found entertaining but I wasn't compelled to return until a friend really insisted I watch HISTORY before I quit the series entirely and thank god for that input.
Great show. I played this trailer for some friends, hoping to get them interested. With no knowledge of what character was part of what story and nothing to break up the episodes, they were all disinterested/confused. I then played the first ten minutes of episode three; they were drooling for more.
SUM UP OF EPISODES 1 & 2: (If you're not sure about watching it) • Episode 1 - The PM of the UK has to have sex with a pig in order for the princess of the UK to not get killed by terrorists. He has to do it live on TV, no faking it. • Episode 2 - A man finds this girl and says she sings really well, they become friends. The girl wants to get on a show but needs a lot of credits, the guy has those. However she is then asked to do a lot of unethical things to do it. The guy doesn't like it and sees if he can make a change by doing something dramatic. Please like this so more people can see it!
Very confusing and disjointed trailer. Can't even really tell what the series is about. Bunch of random scenarios and clips that don't form any kind of an overarching narrative that I can detect.
+Shinobi Wolf That's what it is! I'm not even joking they are TOTALLY different stories with no ties, that's called an "anthology" The only thing remotely similar is the fact that they are all based on technology :)
Really, I don't know what to think about this show... I just have finished watching the first and second episode of the first season and, well, I felt very uncomfortable during the first one and the second one made me feel less uncomfortable but gave me several attacks of claustrophobia while I'm not even claustrophobic... I'm a bit lost right now, I don't know if I'll keep watching it. This is really the weirdest TV show in my opinion. 😐
Thomas Original No it's the contrary, they don't act like real humans ! For example in the first episode, I'm pretty sure that it would NEVER happen in the real life, no one would ask anyone to do this even to save someone, no matter how important is that person. And even if the person would actually do it, no one would broadcast it on tv... Also I'm pretty sure that they would not have had a completely different reaction while watching this. And I think that this is the same thing about the second episode and probably the same thing again for all the other ones too. They don't look human, THIS is the problem. They are truly scary.
pigammon wow, really great, i was looking for something as good as Utopia ! Do you know maybe other series like those ? The trailer is really great, i'm definitely going to watch it :)
I so love this episode because it truely is no ending and without ending there is no happy ending... in a way it is way more scary than the rest of the series... also the brunet one has a potential to get bored so ...
Asahel Davalos oh my god, are you serious? The first was the worst like what the fuck? Fuck a pig. I literally couldn't handle it but I still continued to watch the rest of the show because it was engaging. Lmao
I can't believe I just finished this entire season (yes as if it's long HAHA) yesterday. I'm so late. But thanks to my friend who has Netflix and our sleepover, I was able to catch up. If you have no Netflix, be thankful to friends with Netflix. this trailer makes it appear as if episodes are connected. great.
If anyone is on the fence about whether to watch this or not. Let me tell you, this is the greatest show I've ever watched. It's so unique, there's real life lessons in all the episodes and they're so creative. Excellent acting as well. I'm not selling it very well but for real, this is seriously 10/10. Fookin Pie Ape!!!
This isn’t a movie, it’s a show about the future and what problems that can occur. For example one episode is about how we can rewind and see past visions. This guy sees that his wife has been cheating by looking at every single detail.
I don't understand this. What is the story supposed to be? watching people watching other people humiliate themselves on TV? and then there was the weird eye thing and fucking a pig. I just don't get it
you didn't get that episode right? Its about how society has lowered its morals. That they would watch a guy do that...for their pleasure. The guy actually released the girl 15 mintues before the politician had to do it. Meaning he didn't really have to do it. Essentially the show is SOCIAL COMMENTARY.
