Yup, not many advantages with this camera besides the weight. You especially appreciate the work Gopro have done with wind noise suppression on the last few models. Anyway, I hope the pay was good :)
Sick footage. But from a sounenginieur's point of view you should put one of these hairy stickers (don't know the word in English) over the mic of the camera to stop the wind noise. And afterwards when you are editiing the video( when you can equalize the sound in the program you'r using) chrank up the mids and highs of the sound until you are happy with it. It needs a "dead cat" or a "moustache" that would help cut down the wind noise for sure. I've seen a lot of people who make their own wind socks for cameras. Just need the right kind of material and stick it over the mic hole
It seems like most of the people commenting and praising the quality here have watched this on a tiny screen. I'm quite shocked how bad the footage looks on my computer screen, the compression artefacts are totally ruining it. It seems like the Bitrate is way too low for fast action on the Go 2.
I was tempted to buy one of those cameras… But in the magnet chest cam position the angle is all outta whack and the wind noise is terrible. Glad you made this video so I didn’t waste my money. Looks like a great cam for other applications but not for MTB.
Gutted just ordered one of these and after watching that does not look like much of an improvement in quality over my session 5 was image stabilisation even on?, wind noise is awful what's with the whistling? and does not look as wide an angle as the Gopro, might be sending it straight back, not a great add for the camera but will give it a go. Normally love watching your Vlogs but found this a hard watch.
Not near as good as the go pro . the video is acceptable at best, and the audio is shit. other than that , love the vids Bernard ......edit, the angle on the chest mount is too low, lots of bars and frame very little of the trail out front
Rad vid as always 🤙Chin mount would probably be best angle instead of the chest mount, but then you have to be wearing a fullface... Insta360 or a third-party needs to make a sponge cover for the audio. Coming to CANADA any time soon???

Had to stop vid that noise is far too much for my ears. The price of these cameras is crazy for such low quality sound. As if the company's dont know about wind noise
That is such a sick little camera.. and I mean little haha.. only bad thing is hella wind noise.. black mountain looks sooo good and very confusing with all the lines
