A new trailer for Game Science's Black Myth: Wukong has dropped and offered tons of brand-new information for fans to glean ahead of its anticipated launch. It showcases several new transformations from combat-focused to exploration and some stealth, fresh environments teeming with gorgeous details, new bosses, and much more.
The many new skills and transformations highlight the sheer number of combos possible, not to mention the extensive build variety. As if the sheer amount of new details weren't enough, the presentation still looks absolutely stunning, whether it's the character design and soundtrack or the effects.

@@finnmchugh99 both from software and Santa Monica had a good track record for releasing good games. It's subjective I know, but the gow series and souls series have massive fan bases. Elden ring could have been a flop, but it was much less of a risk than this. Game science doesn't have that reputation yet, so if you want me to pre-order, yeah you're gonna need a demo.

@@finnmchugh99it's the first international AAA game from an unknown studio. They don't have the reputation to guarantee a quality game. Plus it had multiple showcasing of early build demo in events so "why not just publically release a demo?". Heck even Square bothers to do demos with FF, especially when they are trying something new. The games you mentioned are made by well known reputable developers so their is less skeptism that will be thrown towards their new games.

What you really need to know... The review embargo is up before the release date, so you can hold off on your pre-order until then if you want. I'm still waiting to see the final in-game showing the mission select and size and complexity of the environments to see if there is at least a DMC or hopefully Nioh level of exploration, shortcuts, secrets, collectibles rather than just being a "boss rush." Also, given all the transformations, there are going to be a ton of bugs and exploits the first couple of months, so you'll need to actively avoid streamer content if you don't want to know all the cheez. Since there is no multiplayer, they might not rush to fix that stuff if you do like to "break games."

What gamingbolt isn’t telling you is that when they finally review this game they will be trashing this game and give it anywhere between a 5/10 to 8/10, and will say this game has so many problems at launch that we didn’t know about because we never went hands on with it, all our info came second hand from trailers and interviews with websites like IGN. But hey at least we hyped up the game to the point you suckers pre-order it. They ended the video with the usual complaint no news on our beloved Xbox X and S getting this game. Honestly if I had to guess why they don’t want to develop a version for Xbox is because the series S would compromise the graphics and framerate.

It will be fine, the developers and other people that have seen the ps5 version said that it's well optimised, and that it has both 1440/60fps performance mode and 4k/30fps high quality mode, can't wait to play it on a big screen with a comfortable good for posture set up I hope that everyone else that plays this game has a great time, regardless on what platform they play it on

The devs of this game have gone above and beyond to prove to Gamers their product not only works but SLAPS! Trusted gamers have demo'd it, they've shown countless full boss fights not just 3-5 second clips.. Yall are TRIPPING! If I ever pre-order it's this game, and I did! Probably not much exploration as the developers went through great lengths to 3D scan real temples in China for this game. If realism is important, then it probably doesn't have large swarths of digitally created landscape. It's a trade-off.

They said their company too small to do disc for their first AAA. If successful and demand is high, then will do discs

@@prastagus3 Game Science has stated that due to "limitations in offline resources," it's had issues producing discs for physical copies. As a result, physical versions of the game will come with activation codes instead of discs at launch, though the developer is hoping to offer discs in the future.

I only pre-order when a game looks very promising, my preorders records are so far so good: Elden Ring, Elden Ring DLC, Armored Core 6, all recent years Zelda games, Mario Party Superstar, Mario Odyssey. None of them let me down. I also reordered Black Myth Wukong, I hope it is as good as it looks, my expected score is 8/10.

Laptop Mag had accidently released the review (it's been removed) of the game. Says it's an absolute banger in terms of gameplay and not so much in the story department.
