I mean we are living in a world where people don't know what a woman is or trans women are "real" women. So not surprised. The journalist is probably talking about trans women lol.
We should ask them what is a woman, last time I check they're the ones who told us that "a woman is something who identifies a woman", so let's just tell them that the rock over the background is a woman.
Heard this boss was a friend of Wukong and descended to try to revive him. Got turned into a puppet by the relic in Yellowbrow’s possession and became his puppet. Same thing happened to most bosses here, allies of Wukong who got their rationality stolen and killed by us. Worst is that this only happened to them cuz they wanted to help Wukong. Don’t want to be sad alone so I’m sharing the pain. 😢

Kang Jin Loong is probably a secret admirer of Wukong. In canon Journey to the West, it was Wukong who got caught in between those golden discs and it was Kang Jin Loong who uses her horn to free him. In game description says she came down to earth to "look into" Yellow Brow's doings and it's implied that she was secretly looking for ways to bring back Wukong. That's why heaven allowed Yellow Brow to capture one of their own and mess up her mind, despite she being basically a deity. It's a cleaner way to purge the court of Wukong's sympathizers. Hope she makes it back in the DLC.
@zollyz i'm pretty I know the horse is the white dragon buddy. What I was trying to get at is that not many ever mentioned the horse as a member of the team.
@@hentikirby7142the white dragon horse mostly showed up in the form of horse and rarely speaks in the book, so not so strong existence as rest of the team.😂
yes that's THE pig. Spoiler: Baije (the pig) will be companion with our monkey character till end game, because main char won't even talk one word in whole game, we need representative :D
Game journalist are a joke they want diversity but Chinese decide to make mythological epic game , they back peddle and say it not diverse enough and try smear them
@@byhyew not sure if my comment got removed or not, but I was talking about the book, and the female statues the game they based him on is a rare example of the character being the opposite sex. Which is fine (I had a link for my previous comment from a Chinese site talking about the bosses in the game, it also has an old image of the dragon dude)
@@miruajin6448 Most likely, we shall see. Contrary to his performance in the TV series, Zhu Bajie held his own against Sun Wukong very well, like they fought for entire day and neither showed signs of fatigue. This is hardly someone as 'weak' as the old TV show would led people to believe. There's also the conspiracy theories implying that Buddha has his own agenda and a lot of the problems they faced on the way to the West was actually secretly plotted by the Buddha in order to spread Buddhism. Or else, Sun Wukong could've easily just bring Tang Sanzang to the West in a blink of eye, Zhu Bajie, Sandy and Dragon Crown Prince metamorphed into a horse can easily keep up with Sun Wukong... Like even if they had to slow down for Tang Sanzang, it shouldn't even take more than a minute for these guys. They were FORMER GODS for crying out loud! All of them and they are all strong even by standards of the Gods. They are not like the White Skeleton Demoness who would've gotten one-shotted and forgotten if not for the drama Tang Sanzang created over killing a demoness who wanted to eat him and possibly eaten countless innocent lives to reach the level of power she had or other demons. I think Black Myth (Black as in Dark, Evil Side) is using the darker theories as a base for the sequel story line
@@teloyl yea, I’m pretty sure the book was like a satire, first part was the authors frustration in not getting into court due to failing tests and the second was after he got fired. (The split happened after 闹天宫) and the pig and the thug were both real dam strong, both got legit positions and powers, the latter is aware of the nature of their mission as he knows a buncha gods are following them and protecting the master, so he just ints most of the times and do nothing. Not to mention how there is this theory about how the Taoist gods tried to kill off dragons as they represented power before them (great for farming culture as they do rains) Ik this game is taking chances, cause 亢金龙, I’m pretty sure is suppose to be a man… or is he still one in this?
I've watched so much footage of this game and i think it's a complete manipulation when they said it wasn't a soul-like just so people who avoid soul-likes will buy it.
@@snowbeast074 but they did stick to the fact that he is a pig demon, like a feral pig, not like the show. itd nice to explain the difference as their designs seem pretty calculated
In the original story, Wukong has a fellow called Bajie(literally the eight taboos), a monster in the shape of a pig, who is also a crew member of the journey. Bajie’s weapon is a nine-forked rake, exactly the one shown at the end. But this character, instead of a pig, is more in the form of a boar. Anyway, the rake should be a hint that this guy has something to do with Bajie.
@@globenstine1335 Wukong is not even "normal person sized", in the original JTW novel, he is around 4 feet tall (reasonable since he's literally a monkey)
I think she's alive, it would be pretty stupid for her to die like that, besides if she dies she would turn into particles, light or something like that, right? Haha, I don't know the original story of this old tale.
@@xleanssx According to the original story, Wukong was the one who got caught in the bowl and Kang-Jin (if I'm not mistaken with another character) was the one who saved him from the bowl because he had the hardest horn. Wow, they were basically friends in the original story. But the story at BMW seems different (sorry for my English like google translate)
@@tuovan4467 Yes, I already read that, but I also read that this is a sequel to the other story, but to the question if she is alive, it does not seem like she dies unless I missed some dialogue.
She's alive. Just knocked out, she did mention the cymbals were enchanted and unbreakable so obviously that knocked her out cold She's immortal too just to add
fun fact Kang jin loong was actually male in the novel General kang jin used his horn in the novel to free wukong from the Golden cymbals shown in this fight . @@tuovan4467
not really, the identity of this boss is one of 28 stars in ancient Chinese mythology, who is a official of heaven and regard as a god, so she definitely can’t be a demon.
there are 28 moon mansions in ancient chinese astrology, and every one of them is relationed with a god or godess, this boss is from the mansion of Kang, her image is a dragon , and is of metal element ,and she can use the electricity power....so technically she is not a demon, is a star godess
Had I known how stupid hard this game is I would’ve never bought it, falsely advertised this is harder than any souls game I ever played, also fck this boss
Sure. This is not a no-brainer game. However, it is an ARPG game, which means you can use the "RPG" aspect (higher level, more health, more mana and more skills etc ) to make the combat easier.
@@luwenjun9504 hmmm yo, that is literally misinfomation.... you can say they don't or shouldn't have spawns...(some still do) BUT they def have genders...
This game is developed by a private Chinese company, so I don’t even know why you talk nonsense. Well, I guess if the blacks and natives had a strong organization united them against Europe colonialism back then, they might avoid being slaves or their properties being stolen for hundred years. So sad the CCP is such a badass that makes your superior dream a joke now.
@@Auricalios I don't know what sweet baby inc is, and I'm not going to look it up because who gives af who they are and what they think, and why you give af about their opinion enough to reply to me. But I do know there's another Wukong game or movie released like every other year. There's a Lego Wukong and he's a champion in that lame LoL game for crying out loud. So to hear all this hype around what I'm assuming is literally the 5th Wukong game that I'm personally aware of in the last decade is just droll, to say the least. Also, I love this new trend where any amount of criticism is met with, "Oh, you're a bot, or a fake account made to stir up controversy, or you're an A.I. that just copies what it hears" No, I'm a regular person that uses my brain for at least a few seconds once a month or so, instead of jumping on to the hype bandwagon of some product shoved in your face by marketing. It's called having taste. Enjoy your monkey game that will be forgotten in a week.
@@BLK_MN Not many people care about the lore in this game. People are mainly drawn to it because of the graphics and gameplay. That, you must admit, is pretty impressive. This being the hundredth piece of media that depicts the lore then is not or much importance then, while it seems to be the highest priority concern.
