It’s finally here folks. I've been eagerly waiting to dive into Black Myth Wukong, and it’s everything I hoped for. Unreal Engine 5 is insane. This video showcases gameplay with the RTX 4090 and 7800X3D at 1440p with maximum settings, without ray tracing enabled. i expected a lot more from the 4090 to be honest. cinematic settings, 100% scaling with Frame Generation brings me at the same location in the game to around ~100 FPS on a 7900XT.

@@markob53 Thanks for the support! Glad to see another 4090 + 1440p fan out there! I'm definitely tempted to turn on ray tracing, I was just holding off until the new Nvidia game driver released to see how it performs. Rest assured, a full RT video is coming soon-stay tuned!

@@Magjee I kind of noticed that too, not gonna lie. Since posting this video, I’ve found out how to reduce the sharpness. You can replicate this with UE5 commands or by downloading a mod that allows you to tweak the sharpness.

It’s about high performance across various applications. 1440p balances great performance with resource efficiency, especially for games with ray traced illumination. The price reflects its overall capabilities, not just resolution. I’m quite satisfied with 1440p and having the flexibility to game at the settings that make the most sense. I just max everything out and enjoy.

@@MythicRTX If you’re turning off RTX, which i’ve done myself, I would rather play at 4k. I might give 1440p a try at max settings as I play on a 4080

⁠@@STAyTHIRSTyMyFRNDS I get where you’re coming from. Since making this video, I’ve been playing mostly with RT on, so I opted to stick with 1440p. It still delivers great visuals and smooth performance. But if you’re turning off RTX, 4K is a solid choice too. If you’re looking for that perfect balance in graphical fidelity though I think 1440 is worth a try to see if it fits your gaming style! 👍
