the ripple effect thing when you hit and stuff, I feel like that is very very cool, and I've always loved it when they implemented into games, but in the newer games on UE5, I feel like they're using it too much, there's no need to use that effect when someone is simply swinging their sword. It gets overdone a bit I think they should tone it down a bit, and only use it with parries or heavy elemental attacks

very unrealistic balancing/scaling though. he's using the same moves that barely hurt the ape he was fighting on a dragon. knowing how strong wukong is, when he fights stronger enemies, we should be using much more powerful magic/skills. kinda ruins the immersion when he's using the exact same moves and for some reason they are flinching and pushing back a dragon.

It's funny how the game's catchphrase is, "THIS GAME LOOKS PHOTO REALISTIC." even though this level of graphics is pretty common at this era. Also, it makes me wonder if that's all they have to brag about, which lowers my expectations for the game.

I'm not sure if it's cause it's a piece of their culture, but they showed tons of respect to the mythology.

This game otherwise looks totally awesome (I especially like the part where he transformed into a wolf-man, and kicked the giant wolf creature's ass with a flaming glaive like (guan dao?) weapon, and the revelation of that lightning weapon at the end of the video has me all giddy, since I love lightning powers and weapons, but action games these days keep refusing to let me have any (looking at you God of War Ragnarok!)), but I notice a distinct lack of the ability to simply block (not talking about fancy countering) regular enemy melee attacks, instead of having to dodge everything...that's going to annoy me...And I mean, this is basically Sun Wukong we're playing as here...he should be more than capable of blocking basic attacks with his staff.

Funny thing about this is I have only started to actually truly learn about Sun Wukong since this game was announced but it took time until I truly understood who he was. So I have heard of Sun Wukong but only in the title of "The Tales of the Monkey King", of which I didnt know who it was actually based off of. I had only heard of the tales because I learned DragonBall is loosely adapted from that myth. When this game was announced was when I officially heard his name properly for the first time, but still wasnt seriously interested (which is weird for me because I am actually a fan of ancient mythologies). Then, Death Battle put him in a match with Hercules of which I was sure Hercules would win because I still believed Sun Wukong to be a nobody only for Herc to get seriously bodied. I finally began to actually pay attention to his name when those amazing "vs shorts" here on RU-vid started popping up and I couldnt help but notice anytime this "Sun Wukong" guy got in a "shorts vs" his fights were always somehow one sided. So I FINALLY actually started to research who this guy is and why on Earth do people hold him in such a high regard and good golly what I found was nothing short of jaw dropping. To sum it up, this man is basically the Chinese Doomslayer except with immortality times like 7. Now, I am a fan of the great Sun Wukong and I can finally say I am truly looking forward to this game and I will continue to research this mythology.

There were a lot of mythic motifs in Shadow Warrior that were just cool-looking fodder or background. Wukong is giving them the cinematics and voice they deserve. 大喜！

This better be more like The Witcher 3 instead of games like Sekiro. It's pretty hard to play games like Sekiro on PC, the controls is confusing.

This game just looks better every time you see it and you can tell this is real gameplay this is legit

畫面很精美，但是在跟頭目對打時可以更加飛天遁地、神通廣大一點，剛才有一段VS龍的對戰，看著悟空在地上跑來跑去、左閃右閃的，感覺很可惜….既然對上龍，應該有更多在天上飛翔對打的畫面～還有招式與法術可以更多元一些，讓對戰內容更加刺激、華麗～

The main character only uses a staff, does nothing else? That way the game gets boring.

I just hope the AI for enemies will be better when the game drops. Enemies just do their own thing even when your far from them. Overall the game looks insane. The snow physics are really good.

I don't want to say anything bad about this game cuz I don't have a PS5 anyway and the first time this game was shown that I was blown away and love the idea of it but for all the time that the development's been going on why is it so stuttery? And why isn't it a straight demo this seems to be chopped up like they're trying to hide stuff maybe glitches or something still I hope that this game is everything that it's trying to be Glad we got to see some more of it.

Don't get me wrong- this game is BEAUTIFUL. But its not photo-realistic. Not even close. Not that I would really want it to be anyway- the art style is perfect for a mythological game like this.
