When it comes to combat system, i dont think elden rings can keep up with black myth wukong. Elden rings combat system is not that engaging. I wouls say sekiro has the best combat system till date and it is black myth wukong after that.
@@ABrentor true, it should be marked better than sekiro. wukong has the see through mechanic :), pulling it off followed with counter attacks with different stances feels so satisfying than anything sekiro has to offer, sekiro is great, perfect parry is fun but it's not as good as the see through mechanics in wukong :D
@@SiChuanChilli see through mechanic is good? You need a focus point which you get for hitting a boss with light attacks 3 or 4 times and then press heavy attack is a good mechanic to you? Sure it looks cool but can never compare to the feeling of parrying a hit deflecting it with your sword which requires precise timing. If I ever wanna feel cool, I play god of war where you can actually chain combo things you unlock in your skill tree. The best part about wukong is not the protagonist itself but the bosses. There are so many with some of the best designs and moves. But the combat mechanics itself fall short of greats
Being in the industry for 23 years working as an artist makes me just "lol" at these comparisons. I'm curious about what Digital Foundry would think watching videos like this. I don't wanna play the bad cop but... Seriously? Comparing a gigantic open world game with mid-gen graphics, VFX and animations to an open map game with state of the art visuals rendered by Unreal Engine 5 professionals? Regards.
