Today we take a trip down memory lane as I load up black ops 1 on my xbox series x and play black ops 1 on xbox in 2023 to see if the rumours are true that all the older call of duty titles have been fixed and made easier to find public match multiplayer lobbies in 2023 in games such as black ops 1 in 2023 and this time we will be checking to see if search and destroy is fixed and playable in black op 1 in 2023!

Hope you all enjoy today's video! Still yet to find a hacker playing all these old call of duty titles so far and that doesn't change with search and destroy in black ops 1! I have also addressed one issue some of you seem to be having when playing these older cod titles through xbox one backwards compatibility which is input delay and not appearing as good as it should this issue is answered at 1:01 and should help improve this issue it won't eliminate it but will help improve your experience!

Do you experience disconnecting from 360 servers while playing on the Xbox One? I’m playing on the series x and I get disconnected from the 360 servers mid game

Man the memories of playing Black Ops 1. There was a moment when I was playing with some friends playing SND on Summit. One of them was raging in game chat. and he got crossed mapped tomahawked at the start of the round The sudden silence of him being cut off. Made me lose it and I was dying laughing.

It's funny you mention that as my first ever cross map tomahawk was on summit I was such a noob I didn't even know something like that was possible at the time so I absolutely lost it when I did it. No reaction for mine unfortunately but it was still an Insane moment 😅

this was my childhood. Playing and and camping because I was so bad😂and playing Kino and five was so fun. I’ve just ordered an Xbox 360 so I can play blops1 again 😁

Also if u have a Xbox elite controller you can change ur response curves to make it feel more like the 360too.

I've kept my elite controller set to how I normally have it but maybe I should experiment with it in another slot and see if I can make it more suitable for these older cod titles 🤔

@@TazXGold yeah I remember Drift0r did a vid on the input delay and stuff with reeves compatibility on the newer controls I’d recommend that if ur curious on any more info tbh

@@xbinzur6956 interesting I have just watched it and going to have a look at it I have an elite controller so want to see if changing to instant does improve the input delay will be interesting to see and might make a video on this if I find it to be a good improvement.

Thank you dude! And absolutely until Activision remembers what call of duty really was and is we won't be seeing games as good as these for a while especially with next year's cod looking like MW2 2.0 🙃

Will definitely be a better experience on the 360 as it is native to these games and way less input delay probably than playing through an Xbox one s but will still be fine to play I have no issues playing on my Xbox series X besides the minor input delay 😁

@@TazXGold yesterday got the xbox, today i bought mw3 and WaW (only ones in my local refurb) and i don't experience any input delay ( maybe cuz i played ps3 for a month) so its all great. Would you like to team up?

Is the input delay only on TVs or on Monitors too?

All monitors and TVs have delay and they will have more or less depending on how good the TV or monitor is monitors are typically 5ms or less and TVs can be but can also be extremely high if they aren't designed with gaming in mind

Heard that it is only fixed because of Microsoft getting it fixed not Activision. So I'm unsure of the current state on pc but I know most use clients like plutonium etc to play black ops 2 safely so might be the case here as well.

I am in the UK as well, bought an xbox 360 today to play B01 (my favourite cod) but when I try find a game, I get a notification saying black ops 1 servers aren't available at this time. Does anybody know why this is? I am using a wired internet connection as well. Played MW2 today and it worked fine. Could it just be lack of players on UK servers right now? It's midnight just now while trying to find a game.

I haven't experienced anything like this. There are definitely players available to play at any given time. Only thing possible is I've heard buying Xbox live gold for a new account does take a little while to actually register gold possibly something implemented by Microsoft to stop bots or something but could be a possibility otherwise I have no idea. Sorry to hear my dude wish I could help but hopefully it should sort itself out soon 😁
