My favourite thing about BO2 were the 2 dollar customisation packs the camos were all amazing and could be used on all weapons we don’t get that anymore… now it’s just 20 dollar bundles for two weapon blueprints.
My fav things about B02 Maps were unique and can be utilized by any type of player: always a camp spot, sniper spot, trickshot spot, rush route No SBMM Streaks cycled Class system and perks balanced Unique weapons Camos goated
BO2 was by far my favorite COD game. The Pick 10 system was perfect. It allowed you to customize to your play style. If you wanted OP guns, you make them. If you want tons of perks you did that. They would do themselves a big favor by bringing back customization like this.
Absolutely. You could have a reason to ditch your grenades, primary or secondary weapon, attachments or extra perks in favor of something else. It made sense to run a primary with multiple or no attachments with our without or a secondary with none, 1 or 2 attachments. This kind of flexibility is way better than having a shitton of weapon configurations available but baroness customization of the class itself
I put mw2 above bo2 because I felt the maps were better and the campaign was better but bo2 was way more balanced and alot less rage inducing They just havent been able to replicate since then they peaked too early and have been chasing ever since
I know this won't be a popular opinion, but I honestly love COD3 out of them all. Back then there were no customization or skins. People just focused on winning as a team. Everyone just played together to complete the objective and it was so much fun when everyone worked as a whole team. Plus it had Tanks and vehicles which was pretty revolutionary and didn't see again.
BO2 was excellent. I wouldn’t say it was ahead of it’s time, as much as I’d say it was one of the last Call of Duty games where the evolved appropriately and was released as a complete game. The combat record back then was so complex but also intuitive and easy to navigate, now we are in an era we don’t even get a leaderboard at launch.
I agree with that. After BO2, COD just started to go downhill in all aspects.. at least in my opinion. Zombies started to become just a jumbled mess, and I think it was BO3 where they scrubbed zombies altogether. I remember playing that dumb alien hunt and was like "wtf is this hot shit?"
@@hinglemccringleberry9389 not even just zombies multiplayer menu back then was simple but effective same as the pick a class just had 1 grip 1 quick draw etc Now we have a complex menu and about 27 different scopes that isn't necessary
Damn this game was so good, I had a 2.08 K/D on this game, I loved that the score streaks actually rewarded you for playing the objective. my win/loss on this game was so high as I played with 2/3 friends and we just battered the Objective on Dom, we would usually drop at least 30/40 kills and 10-20 caps in a really competitive game. Top tier game, weapons, streaks and maps were so balanced
Black ops 2 was one of the best but the lack of support at times really killed it. When the connection went to hell it was unplayable. The swarm was basically a lobby nuke as people would drop out immediately once someone called it in
Ill always maintain that Black Ops 2 was the BEST call of duty and Modern Warfare 2 was the the most FUN call of duty. Mw2 was broken af in many ways but never got old and Bo2 had it all and was the most balanced and varied.
i dropped the worlds first 100 kill streak on bo2 (on my other channel same name) this game was just so fucking good, even the shitty maps were fairly playable, pretty much every gun was great to use, same with the kill streaks, i had the best of times on this game with my old buds 💜 upload more bo2 please :)
For me OG MW2 would always be the best but as you say BO2 wasn’t bad, actually really enjoyable, but for me the second best cod would have to be BO1, I hated it at the start but I have developed sort of a bond with it and I really like it
I think the 2 most hated zombie maps were in this game. Transit and Die Rise, but honestly those were some of my favorites. They were just challenging as hell, so I just say that weeded out the boys from the men if you could be good at those maps
Cod waw, mw2, bo1/2/4 will forever be my top cods of all time. Bo1's money system and the game modes that came with are goated. The maps were also really fun and just for its sheer balls for bringing cod to a new era was what made it for me. So blessed for that. And the campaign was so good. Zombies. Mw2 was always chaotic fun, even on wasteland. Play it slow or fast no matter what. Not mentioning what mw2 did right, the fact that mw2 was in many ways broken af made it so much fun to the point where the brokenness is a non issue. Mw3 perfected mw2's formula adding new innovations to gamemodes, perks, streaks, etc. Nice movement, guns felt right, etc. Waw was the first game that really kicked off arcade mp's imo, basic but always fun. And while cod4 came first, and was aight imo, waw was the first cod to reach the stars in my eyes. That campaign is god tier. Zombies. Bo4 was a reprize from that cursed advanced movement. Back to the og boots on the ground arcade fps fun. Again, guns where fun to use, maps decent and despite not having a campaign, it just proved that you didnt necessarily need one for a good cod. Zombies. And bo2... From the dlc that actually gave you bang for your buck, to amazing maps and visuals, it was the amalgamation of all the cods that came before made better. Nice movement, fun gameplay, top notch customization and progression. Fun and interesting campaign. Zombies.
BO2 was just so damn good! Loved all the guns and the camos were sick! I always used the kawaii, cyborg, party rock, bacon, cherry blossom 🌸, art of War, and some of the carbon ones! Good times, man! 😁👍🏻 the pdw was sick! I remember getting that thing gold! Most of the guns were pretty good and fun to use, especially the starting guns like the mp7 and the Remington shotgun! All the iron sights were nice too!
Black ops 2, OG mw 2, then black ops 1 are my favorite cods ever. Surprisingly I'm really enjoying the new mw2 as well. Not as much as the old games, there are a lot of problems with it as well, but it's been really fun playing with my buddy on there.
PeaceKeeper let's go!! This is my fav BO2 weapon of all time. I miss it so much. Diamond camo or dragon skin were my jam, it looked so beautiful. Would love to see you Fortunate do an entire video on the PeaceKeeper someday!
Theater infections are removed all theater films have been removed for a lot of people on the Xbox most peoples clips has been removed so no more infections can be made
I think BO1, BO2, MW2, & World At War slapped! Black Ops 2 was hella memorable for its weapons, camos, faction announcers, and my personal favorite:The Pump Action R870 Diamond Camo 💎. I blood loved the R870, I used it religiously lol beautiful gun
Bo2 came out after when I started no lifing in mw3. I played all day everyday almost. Had like 1 million kills amd got to master prestige 10 times before they added all the extra prestige. Now I don't even play video games anymore because I wore myself out
This is what I don't get all us og cod fans loved these games they where so highly rated and now every year they try to make a game worse than the previous one it's sad 😢 cos they know how to make the game we want but they just don't 💔
BO2 it brought the guns up close and they are bigger. But the fact they were not all real weopons kinda killed something for me. Its like after WAW and BO . Treyarch just said lets make our own guns. So i put BO2 with all the jetpack dutys and thats where it sits. It did have great maps. But personally D4 and BlackOps is where it.
I’m not sure if it’s just the player base now or the maps but the games now play so different. Like I usually played mw3 and bo2 back in the day and in a kill confirmed or domination game, I could constantly get somewhere around 40 kills and occasionally more. Now on mw2019 and mwII I average like 20 kills a game. It’s weird looking at the leaderboard in domination and the most kills you see is like 25 kills
It's the shitty fucking maps the maps make the game feel like warzone. Too many doors & holes in the wall & the maps being to big. They need to just make simple 3 lane small to medium maps.
I’m sad I don’t remember playing this game as much as I do WaW, Cod 4, MW2, BO1 and BO3… Like I know I played it but I don’t get the nostalgia like I do with the others. Except for Transit..I remember that Hellscape.
I liked BO1 more because it showed everyone’s KDs in the lobby so it showed who was shit and gave more of an incentive to be better. Also the maps and game feel was so good of any CoD
Damn, your voice has gotten so much deeper than when I watched you last time, Fortunate. Maybe a new mic? Good to see you're still having fun on these great games
@@drcoctor7742 hell yeah man, it was still in that "split screen era" where you got your siblings and friends to come over and play zombies! It's the goat
My favorite thing about BO2, and it’s something very small, was the spinning globe in the background of the multiplayer lobby which lit up what parts of the world were playing online, and of course I miss seeing the player count. I used to be fascinated staring at which parts of the world were playing and who were not.
I reset my BO2 account yesterday after someone messed with my prestige (making me prestige max while I was almost level 55 for my first prestige, making me miss out a lot of prestige rewards). Although I'll miss my gold camo SMAW it's gonna be "fun" to get my levels legitimately instead of by a hacker.
i agree the game was amazing, however it was beyond rage inducing 🤣the full party of tac inserting snipers with c4 sandwiches and the red screen gun r870🥴still miles ahead of any recent cod
BO2 was solid. Some are betting CoD 2023 will be a remake of it. BO:CW was a re-imagining of the original Black Ops, we just got the MW2 re-boot, a BO2 re-boot would fit the pattern.
I know Xbox 360 there are still some modders at times in Black ops 2, but playing on PS3 was even worse. The modders are on the PS3 24/7 and I wasn't able to get a clean lobby. On Xbox 360, however, I was still able to, even if the connection wasn't perfect.
it's just nostalgia not only that but because back then you could "stomp" noobs which might have made it fun for you but not the noobs which would've hurt the game in the long run.
Ahhh good ole BO2 the best COD and the peak of the franchise. Still to this day the best ranked play system not sure why they strayed away from it. You literally got everything a pro would get and the banned items too. I started playing CoD on PC back in 2002 when 1st came out, and this game was its pinnacle.
Back in the day when they actually cared about developing good games. Now all they care about is money and how to make more of it. I gave up with COD last year as it really doesn’t hit the same anymore. At least I’ve got the memories
That afterlife camo would probably be a camo you’d need to grind in a newer call of duty by getting platinum on all weapons before you achieve yet in BO2 you’d only pay £2.50 and you got for everything lol
BO2 was most likely the most balanced COD game in terms of gameplay since W@W (guns, matchmaking players, scorestreaks, maps) but it also felt like it lacked an edge, it felt too well balanced as silly as that sounds. Other call of duty games had a specific play style to them that was unique, with a reason to play that way, whether it was for killstreaks, weapons upgrades, camos or purely XP grinding.
