my only gripe with the camo grind is that headshots don’t mean much in this game (no damage multiplier) besides using a barrel that doesn’t work well for a lot of guns, so going for headshots will put you in a disadvantage…
Going for headshots is definitely fast kill time. It sounds like a skill issue to me. Anyone who plays ranked in crim or above has to hit all headshots if u want to win a gunfight
Treyarch proving once again why they are the best cod developer. So many incentives for reaching higher prestiges. I’m actually so hyped for the grinding this year!
I’m really excited for this game. I stopped playing COD at BO4 and have been really only been playing Apex since 2019 but we all know the current state of Apex so I’m excited to have BO6 be my new game to grind
This genuinely looks awesome Treyarch seems too have been cooking, my biggest beef has been them locking away all the cool blueprints and operators behind bundles so this is awesome
I'm so glad after all these years we've finally returned to the Headshot Camos, and we've got Classic Prestige and now we can even show off Mastery Badges for Items & Weapons. Honestly, when I used to think of the future of the COD Franchise, back during Bo2, this is what i imagined. Sticking to it's guns and going forward from there. After like 6 years of identity crisis, it feels like COD might finally be back on track like it was back in 2012. Now... if we could just remove SBMM, I think we might just start a new golden era, because rn, everything Treyarch is doing is perfect.
@@externalboss9404 You'd rather deal with half the camos being "Kill enemies behind cover" "Kill enemies while prone" "Kill enemies from Behind" "Get 50 Kills Mounted Kills" & "Kill enemies shortly after reloading" than by simply using skill to aim for the head? You're an idiot.
this might be the best game since the 2019 reboot. the classic system returning was already good, but those icons look sick shrunken down on the menu and all the blueprints and operator skins look like premium bundle skins. the only thing that could possibly go wrong are the maps but i enjoyed the beta

Now I'm really excited for the future seasons of BO6 for whatever weapons they're gonna add to grind for the mastery camos. Also, hopefully, like from MW3, they add more seasonal camos.
Honestly this is the first year I am excited for a Cod launch since BO2 love all the progression there is in the game I actually want to 100% the entire game camo wise
Only thing that is kinda meh is that every gun has the same base camos, depending on the mode ofcourse. I like the system don't get me wrong, getting headshots is nice and we do have unique, universal special camos. It just would've been nice to have sifferent base camos with each weapon and them to be universal like in MW3 would've been cherry on top
I’m fine with that bse if we be honest the only thing mainly warm will be the mastery camos until a seasonal event camo or a prestige camo, ranked camo or something peek ppl interest. So by not focusing so much on base camos it looks like they cooked in other areas of the game which I’m super cool with. Personally
This is sweet as hell!! I would say I prefer the 4 camo system mw2/3 had, but this new one isn’t too different, and no need to max rank the weapons. This will absolutely be a fun and satisfying grind!
CAMPAIGN CHALLENGE CALLING CARDS!!!! Cold War introduced campaign calling cards and it was something i went back to playing campaign for. Even getting all the dark ops campaign challenges as well
Wasn’t expecting as many prestige rewards as are being added. Only thing is I wish you could get a Reaper operator skin from BO3. I miss him. Full Metal Everything.
This is going to be a first for me, as I’m usually a casual player, but… I’m going for max Prestige. I think it’s time I commit to this relationship properly.
The only concern I have so far is how the camo progression works, and entering prestige. It seems like the 9 military camos are the same for all the weapons which means a limited amount of camo categories, and less universal camos for any weapon of choice. Take solid colors and tiger camos for example. In the past, entering prestige is a full reset, but you have one token to unlock permanently. But the blog mentions that purchased blueprints or battlepasses are not locked, so you can use that blueprint despite the gun being locked when you enter prestige, giving a slight unfair advantage to those who doesn't buy anything other than the full game.
From what I'm hearing is long as you have a blueprint you a still have access to that weapon via blueprint. Idk how true that is but for me ima be in zombies doing all these anyway. Going for Nebula first then dark matter
Not really bc you get free blueprints from beating the campaign and battle pass dose have some free weapons for players to get without spending money but I'm not saying they will be good weapons but when you prestige you get a Free weapon that is a blueprint as well so you can use said gun
I'm so damn excited. The progression looks fantastic. The camo grind looks fantastic. I actually like going back to the old school same headshot challenges for each gun. I'm thrilled.
can't wait to see how Infinity Ward is going to fuck everything up and take all this cool stuff out in their next game. either way BO6 is looking up to he really fucking good this year
My completionist brain is intrigued. Mastery camo looks like it will be the easiest yet which is a bit sad, and I'll have to play Warzone... But the badges and such look nice.
They shouldn’t of got rid of the prestige system sooo glad it’s back multiplayer looks like it’s going to get some love for a change & not having the game based around the battle pass & warzone, think I might be playing COD as much this year as I did before WarZone came out, really hope we are going to get a Black Ops game after the rumoured sequel to BOII that gives us the advanced movement like BO3 which is one of my all time favourite Black Ops games & the only 1 I reached Prestige Master in
Calling cards are looking very good, artful in a more simplified format. I hope weapon stickers are gone as I thought they have always been a waste of time, both the stickers and the large decals. First off the stickers are 99% lame and too small to actually make any splashy look on the weapon. The large decals are a total waste of time since none of them are configured to fit on the weapons properly. Usually partially cut off or not fully displayed . They need to be similar to a vinyl wrap style of application so the fit each weapon and are displayed properly.
Really hoping for a Biden mastery type weapon camo for either max prestige or lvl 1000. Bc so far the rewards u get each prestige actually look like rewards and not to much BS
So wait are all the camo challenges just headshots this year? Except for the mastery camos I’m guessing those are probably going to be different but if that’s the case the camo grind seems pretty simple and easy this year
Am i the only one thats not feeling bo6? Some of these features sound good but the real question is how are they gonna fuck this game up within the first few months.
Way too much overuse of skulls (which I don’t like anyway) for icons. There should be more animal based ones like sharks, orcas, wolves, bears, eagles etc or even vehicles like jet’s/tanks/etc I think that would be much cooler
They release prestige emblems and the entire community forgets how much they hated the beta and the game itself. 90% of you will hate this game a week into SBMM and will only return when they add shipment.
