@@Kameron2335 I just did the crossbow instead of the m79 because it was giving me grief and it counted. So now I only have the launchers to finish for DM ultra. Wish me luck y'all about to grind the next two days and try to finish both of them
For the launcher double kills, stupid challenge, what i found most successful was going into HC Nuketown, 2 smokes, and field mic. Throw the smokes, get to the enemies spawn, camp until you see 2 enemies, melee both enemies. I rarely fired the launcher. Completed pretty quick
You see, the phrase “you have to pray” shouldn’t be correlated with camo challenges. Treyarch was really tripping for adding challenges that require luck/chance rather than actually being a challenge.
@@cursedone2231 yes it does, I did my thumper this way. Just make sure you keep track of how many destroys you get with the cigma since you can do multiple per game and you'll be done in like 3-4 fireteam games
Same here. I got my assault rifles diamond and then the crossbow dropped and I went for that and got that. I had the crossbow gold in less than a day. Then I grinded for the knife and that took me about 4 days in itself. Every time I would try to get a slide kill it would bounce me off the guy and I’d be knifing straight air and get destroyed. The knife sucked
Another good option for cover kills, is to get on the railing of blue house, looking towards b, you're actually able to see down the alley of yellow house, and enemies will often go behind the fence after taking damage as they come down the alley
Tip: for rpg airstreaks go into dirtybomb play the map ruka as its the only mao where you spawn higher than uavs, skydive ontop of them and shoot them down there
Man I had Dark Matter in Blops 3, I had no idea all of the extra work added into Cold War's DM Ultra. They should really be ashamed of the final camo product, it should really be better. DM Ultra is a TON of work. Great video Nero!
I didn’t use à launcher while grinding other guns. Now I’m stuck with 1 challenge to get dm ultra . I’m literally done with everything except 25 aerial kills with the rpg. I got 10 of them in 7h of play . I’m so fed up
Hope this helps for the Launchers. For the 3 killstreak or vehicles per match 10 times, you can use the Cigma for 2 of those but the final third killstreak has to be with the RPG. For example, shoot down 2 UAVs with Cigma then shoot a sentry with the RPG and the shoot 3 score streaks/ vehicles per match 10 times will count just for the RPG once. Rinse and repeat 9 more times and you’ll be done. Just got Diamond Launchers with this method!
I recommend the new 12v12 moshpit that was just added recently for the launcher double kills, you can go into that playlist in hardcore and the chances of you getting double kills goes up way higher. I also got a lot of crossroads and its on the 6v6 version of the map.
diamond snipers were super fun, it was super refreshing compared to the rest of the diamonds because it was mostly just enjoying the weapons instead of praying to get lucky
I would also recommend to put a field mic inside the truck in the middle of nuketown because its shows the middle of the map and you have a good view of everyone and some of yellow and green house
Tip i discovered that helped me get the noob tube (m79) diamond because Its painful. As of now this is working. Set up two classes how you want prior to going into nuketown. The only difference should be your secondary weapon. On the first one, use the cigma, on the 2nd use the M79. People call in UAVs/counters all the time. Shoot 2 down using your cigma then switch to your noob tube class and pray that someone puts down a sentry or RCxd. However if you do this passively, you'll get 3 scorestreaks in one game quickly, I got mine done in just over 2 hours. Prior to this I was trying for a week.
The 3rd has to be, with the M79 otherwise it won't count. You can't destroy a UAV then a sentry and back to a uav again as that'll count it got cigma. This might also work with RPG but I gridned that out before I found this trick out
this is how I get all my detected kills 💀 I usually keep a gas mine on me and then go hack other's equipment. though I've also found that you can get detected kills with uavs so that's also helpful
just got dm ultra without hardcore at all for every weapon in cold war. I always started with the worst weapons from each category, working my way up, so i had the most fun at the end of each category. Point blanks were going passivley for me, since i am a very aggressive playing player. Its a nice feeling after months of daily grinding
A good tip for launchers is going Into HC face off. Look for the map ICBM and it works really well for double kills. I got double kills done for my rpg in about 6 games
If your not that good at multiplayer, you can try getting dark aether, it’s a bit easier but more grindy, it’s also more fun. And they will add the zombie cameos in not too long
For the rockets on double kills, I kept playing HC Face-off 6v6 and prayed nobody uses Flak Jacket. It took me all day to get 25 for the Cigma, and it took me 5 hours for RPG 1 night after work.
the best part of this video is you telling me you can substitute base game weapons for dlc weapons. so no thanks grenade launcher, ill do the sword i unlocked doing the 25 executions camo
For the knife challenges: The disorient challenges, I found that the best way was to play 12v12 moshpit and camp door openings, when you hear enemys coming your way, pop a smoke grenade below you and just butcher them, easy kills. Kills while injured challenge: Fireteam, down an enemy with the knife, throw a semtex under yourself (without having blast jacket ofc) then finish off the kill. This will give you survivor medal and count toward the challenge. I think you can also get a backstabber medal if you stand behind the downed enemy, not 100% sure because I completed this challenge before I went into fireteam. Finishing moves: Once again, fireteam. took me just 4 matches to complete, managed to get around 6-8 per match. Try to use your smoke grenade just before you go for the execution to prevent someone else downing you midway through the animation. For the rest, just nuketown.
Also another quick tip with the m79 thumper if you switch your weapon before it lands you can the hot swap medal and that will give you extra exp so if you care about exp and getting darkmatter you should do this even tho it doesn’t give much exp it will still help a little
The point blanks, launchers and specials are killing me slowly. I just started going for it and decided to attempt to get them out of the way early and I honestly don't know if I can do it. I play waaaaaay too many sweats thanks to sbmm and that's making it even more difficult.

tip for anyone doing longshots, is to grab cold blooded, thermal scope and smoke grenades with the perk that allows you to recharge them, and possible danger close to get 2 smokes at spawn. i know its super scummy, but its possible to get the 50 kills done in 2 games of hc nuketown.
There is also another tip for the 3 destroys in 1 game challenge. If you shoot down 2 streaks with the Cigma, then shoot 1 with the RPG, it will count.
I have managed to get DM in every single COD apart from cold war. I am a med student I simply do not have time to run a launcher. I honestly wanted to start playing cod irl when I saw that challenge. This single challenge is why I'm gonna buy battlefield this year.

I know that Cold War is almost over but for the people who are still trying to get dark matter ultra I suggest just do the long shots last if you’re having trouble with them. It makes everything so much easier imo

Also for long shots to anyone who is suffering, the hallways on garrison easy long shots as most people walk through there and just keep coming (I got about 8 long shots on garrison)
If anyone is having trouble with the m79, I suggest you do the ballistic knife instead. I’m not sure if my account got lucky and gave me diamond special and melee with the ballistic knife. But it’s probably better to try this out instead of using the m79.

Hey Nero! Just thought I’d add a strategy for the SMG point blanks kills. I did this back in black ops 4 to get the gold knife so I thought the same idea would apply in this case. Go into free for all with the following class SMG of choice Agency suppressor Task force barrel 5mw laser Biggest mag possible (my preference) Duster stock Flak jacket Tracker Ninja You want to be as fast and as quiet as possible Stay in an area of the map that is close quarters as possible and continue to parade the area using field mics the survey said area enemies that approach you will more often than not be with in range of a point blank kill using this strategy which beforehand I was maybe getting 1 every 3-4 games first game I tried this I racked up 12 in one free for all game
Cool hint If you also playing Warzone. When Kingslayer Royale us up, you can easily grind UAV & longshots there. 15~kills nearly guaranteed each match. I know not everyone like WZ, but why not maximize profit yeh 😅

The launchers weren’t actually that hard for me tbh, painful, but it only took me like a day for each, with the buffs, and glitches for both weapons, it definitely has gotten easier
I remember when cw came out the first thing I went for was the launcher's and it took me almost a week to get them diamond. Countless hours trying to get double kills. Flak Jacket was so broken sometimes it took two rockets just to kill one guy.
Word of advice do these backwards do the difficult weapons first. The knife and thumper are the first I’m tackling them rocket launchers then pistols and then everything else since their easy to finish
