Activision don’t care about multiplayer, why should the players, they only release multiplayer now as a way of levelling weapons for Warzone, that’s the only thing they care about now.

I think call of duty fans are indeed babies, or at the very least the community is full of mediocre players who don't like to exposed for being mediocre. Everyone says "oh I want a mix of skill levels in the lobby" until they're going 5-31 against a squad of players dropping streak after streak on you.

I think Cod fell off. And then they had the nickmercs thing and that drove them even further down. Just very repetitive and it’s difficult to find American flags in there kinda suck. I haven’t plaid in forever but I might try black ops 6
COD is a stagnate franchise. It deserves to be replaced by upcoming games like the new Delta Force. The only thing that would bring me back is a full-on zombies game.
My reason is these games all feel the same, sbmm 🔥 me out, and the focus on black cell and bundles over content just makes cod mid at best. Events like days of summer or Halloween themed events are non existent. GAMES FEEL EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!!!
Allot of people are burnt out w Activision, the devs, the crap servers, the useless anticheat, the fundamentally fractured core issues w the games, etc.
We don’t care about multiplayer because we can’t play against real players. Played MW3 heavy on release then I realized I paid $100 for combat training because 80% of my lobby was bots. That hurt my heart so no I only care about zombies. Real zombies. Don’t forget about cheaters and the zen.
I also hope they keep dropshotting nerfed to the point where it’s purely defensive. Some mechanics should just not be in cod. Leaning is also a mechanic that doesn’t belong in cod. Go play siege. Peekers advantage is already a problem. (They have to use predictive animations currently to lessen this, that’s how bad of a problem peekers advantage is, and adding lean would only make it worse while simultaneously increasing the required input complexity for high level playing - not a good thing for a series that already had a massive skill ceiling).
As a cod player who ONLY plays TDM, I’m awaiting to see how the gameplay actually looks and feels at length. How’s traversal, for example. Not visually, I mean mechanically, is it responsive and quick? Omni movement is interesting, but the animations aren’t as important to me as responsiveness. And I hope they do a better job with traversal than mw3, where you never know whether something is vaultable until you try it. If something looks vaultable grabbable then it should be, they should design their maps around that. Enough stupid invisible walls and not being able to vault onto something or up to a wall that I should absolutely be able to.
