I hope his voice actor, Tom Kane, is able to fully recover and get back into voice acting some day. Such a talented voice.

I always loved Takeo's voice lines, he sounds like everyone's distally related yet affectionately jovial asian uncle that we all have somewhere.

Takeo is most likely referring to the Villar Perosa, an Italian Machine gun used during World War 1, it was originally used for aircraft, but it was also used in an infantry role. Although the term Submachine gun didn't exist during that era (Unless you count Maschinen Pistole = Machine Pistol.), the VP is nowadays considered an early SMG, due to it using pistol caliber ammunition. The weapon held two 25 round stick magazines, and had a ludicrous rate of fire, which was necessary for quickly damaging enemy planes, which were mostly made out of wood at the time.

I don't want them to recast Tom Kane. That's the equivalent of saying "you're all expendable, and we can simply replace you"; which is fucking scummy. Either let Aether die with dignity like it did before, or make it so that Richtofen and Samantha are the only two we'll be with throughout the journey. Perhaps Sam/Eddie could do a monologue about how when the Cold War began, they went to find their "old friends" in hopes of getting their help. But when they saw Tank, Nikolai and Takeo all had the lives they wanted; they were left in peace. Takeo got to see his children playing together. Nikolai got to return home to his beloved. And Dempsey went on to teach and train the future generations.

My favorite Takeo quote is when he says "i hope these reels are real reels" xD

Many times Ultimus Takeo actually made me laugh out loud, especially his self aware humor and many of his lines in Alpha Omega. He did it more often than Ultimus Richtofen made me laugh.

I like how he turned from a simple, one dimensional cliche to a actual character. And that’s why primis takeo is my favorite character in zombies.

To me Takeo becomes more interesting the longer you get to know him. I think at first he is the stoic one to contrast the others, but after going through hell and back with the others they start to rub off on him.
