Employee development and training should be constantly done, with a good a management team. They should follow up on this and make some improvements. I hope the establishment is taking notes. It is for their own good. I would really love to support and visit these type of black owned establishments. More than 27k of your following is watching this. A loss of 27k and more potential visitors and free advertising of their business. They must really think about this. Thank you sis V and siyathuthuka Ndlu emnyama.✊🇿🇦

Great feedback Velile! This was not negative at all. This is constructive criticism which can help take the business to the next level if the feedback is applied.

We should really do better when it comes customer service as black people especially if we want to lure investors to rural areas sometimes the service one gets from black service providers is disappointing, just look at the taxi industry for example, I've seen drivers promise to beat customers up , lots of training needed

My fellow Zulu forget about the taxi industry it will never be properly run.My dad owned taxis and no matter how much you want change it won't happen.

That place had a lot of potential. But now it looks abundant. No maintenance or upgrading of anything. I was there a month ago and I was disappointed. We even tried to complain about the service to them.

One of the main things that will leave black people globally behind everyone else is Learning and mastering the hospitality industry. We’re at fault and want money (as a people), but service with a smile and integrity is challenging for us at the moment. We gave have a 999 out of a thousand boxes checked but our competitors will have all 1000 boxes checked and next thing you know we are going to our competitors because they made us feel better. I’m willing to work and want black businesses to succeed but I have to be treated well. Another awesome video. Keep it up !!

I think the owners of that establishment really need to assess their staff about good customer service. They must pave the main drive way and the walk ways, but I don't understand the story of that generator b'cause it was made to start automatically when city power turns off and not manually.

Also these 2 years of COVID has devastated 100,000s of businesses worldwide. I know South Africa has been hit very hard. Effective management, logistics, customer service, proper planning should be a cornerstone of a business. Yes I agree more training and assistance from the government would go a long way. In America and other countries, government provides this assistance to businesses. Some free some cost.

Also it is important to hire right people with right skills for specific jobs. The cheap labor system is also becoming costly for employers because employees get tired of working for peanuts and doing same thing for many years. 🙏🏾❤️

Part of the solution. Hold the stuff accountable for their bad service and also give them solutions for next time. Please make the owner aware and must offer remedy.

People in Mpumalanga in general need to be taught about hospitality as their province is extremely beautiful but how they treat tourist especially other Africans they'll one day regret when their business are not generating income anymore.

Hi My Sister .I understand the frustrations you and your daughter experienced but I was just gonna highlight that constructive criticism is necessary in our businesses, but I was thinking may be you could have written a note to the Owners so they know what is cutting on their joint. When we highlight our Ignorance in public as Black people, it will come back to bite us cause we will be sort of pulling each other down.Obviously had it happened before then you had all the reasons to highlight their poor customer service. YOU know what they say,Criticism in privacy and Praise in Public...I'm scared if we too harsh with each other ,our businesses will be shunned by us as well all the people needing Accomodation cause social media can explode🔥🔥🔥 which can really cause severe consequences to our kith and kin...My small contribution and thank you again for this channel🙏🙏🇿🇼🇿🇼

I hope the owner get your feedback, with recommendations. It will really help to improve their customer service. I was in a village in Limpopo, Mosehlaneng village this long weekend. The name of the guest house is Motsetladi Lodge, which is a self catering. I didn't complain about some minor issues, I instead made recommendations to the owner, of which he was grateful. Let's support these business, not only financially but also with ideas and advices. Thanks for the video.

Beautiful establishment...and black owned 🙌🏾 can everyone say AMEN🙏🏽 But good customer service is essential, none negotiable. If we are to grow as a people we need to learn and teach each other about these things. It can literally make or break you. We need to improve in customer service nje periodt. I'm happy for the owners though and the fact that they're black. Forward we go. PS: great content, love love what you do👌🏾 keep up the good work ❤️

Good Morning Velile I accept this critic is not only of this black business but us Black Businesses that we excel in how we serve our customers. There is a lesson its ok to excel in customer service. It is another to ensure consistence of excellence when faced with factors outside business such as Load Shedding and Thunderstorm including other global restrictions.

It's clear that the staff have not been trained in customer service and that's the owner's responsibility. Such a pity because there were several positives. I am curious to know whether you raised your concerns with the owner/ manager and their response. Could have been handled differently? Social media should have been a last resort. Just saying??
