Honestly Thor movies are so lame and forgettable. Thor has had other characters outshine him. Loki is more popular people are only interested in Ragnarok because of Hulk featuring. Hope they do Black Panther justice, it has a different vibe and very stylish. I think Spider-Man Homecoming will be good, but we have gotten way too many Spider-Man movies in the last 15 years.

More than AVENGERS INFINITY WAR, this is the character and the movie I've been waiting for, and every move they've made so far has increased my excitement. T'Challa was my favorite part of CIVIL WAR. CREED was my second favorite movie of 2015 (after THE FORCE AWAKENS), so I was thrilled to hear Ryan Coogler was signed on to direct. The rest of the cast filling in around Chadwick Boseman looks terrific. Great review, guys! So pumped for this movie! "I put that shit in the garage for a reason!" LOL

Black Panther was the very first black super-hero ever. He came before, Luke Cage, Storm, Falcon, Black Lightning etc... Black Panther is the VERY FIRST black super-hero. Being the Black Panther, T'Challa has access to a heart shaped herb that only grows in Wakanda and can only be eaten be those of the royal family. This herb gives him superhuman strength, agility, senses, accelerated healing and the knowledge of all Black Panthers before him. He also has a connection with Bast, the African Panther Goddess. Wakanda is a country that dwells in both technology and magic.

But in the Marvel time line Blue Marvel is Marvel's first black superhero. Panther was obviously created decades before him but Blue Marvel's origin goes back to the 50's. If you haven't read that series yet, I highly recommend it. The Legend of Blue Marvel. Written by Kevin Grevieux. Yes Raze from the first Underworld movie.
