We just don't know if it's the same actor in the costume from weeks earlier and the it was pretty clear the character didn't see the child in the second video but looked at and waived at another black girl while walking by. I'm not arguing with the first clip at all. Just saying the second doesn't seem like a blatant snub like the first.

The performer shook the hand of a tiny kiddo with the family right next to them in the first clip right before they got to this family. The performer was looking down at kid height there with no problem. I think the characters would be trained to look down since most of their little fans are down a bit lower. I don’t know if it was race or what but that character clearly saw those kids, ignored them, and actually shook her hand and head no. It would have taken the same amount of time to shake their little hands quickly. The couple in the interview said this happened to 6 kids over four captured videos and the character stopped with another child for a photo shoot for over 3 minutes. Who can say if it’s race for sure, but definitely there was a pattern and intentional behavior. At minimum they need somebody who can better interact with children.

Also wioth the parents discussing the 2nd clip pointing out that after their kid was snubbed - that the performer stopped to interact with a kid shorty after ... why isn't that portion shown on video much less added to the context. As it stand the 2nd clip shows the 'snubbed' child only trying to interact with the character after it had waved directly at her and passed by her - the kid moves towards thema fter the fact. And the parents should post a more lengthy video instead of this 3 second animted GIF.

Father: I think our clip can be looked at any number of ways - Were is the footage 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after ... The reporter stated there were 4 videos w/ 6 kids where they were snubbed ... I'm betting whether recorded or not; there are likely at least incidents where 6 white kids were "snubbed" or passed by that could jsut aseasily be clipped and edited to show them being ignored. So taking a series of edited videos to show how a specific race of kids are being treated vs another without additional footage or documented evidence is a weak argument. Show the dozen white kids before and after each video clip that were not "snubbed" - otherwise this is all just edited to fit a narrative.

The Sesame Street performer was waving off another parent who wanted them to hold their baby to take a photo - The performer was following the rules since they are not allowed to hold children for fear that they might drop them. The performer has two tiny viewing holes embedded in the mouth of the costume mask and could not see the children that they supposedly ignored. This has nothing to do with racism.
