I love rhubarb strawberry pie. Whole foods makes a great one! I hate Friends, apple pie's ok. Don't know jack about Springsteen or the Beatles (except Lennon once said they were bigger than Jesus). I thought everyone knew about Graceland. I only know Taylor Swift because of the way people call her a snake in the grass. I'm black.

I find it really hateful that people keep saying "white people steal other nations culture". Girl, you need to visit Iceland, Faroe Island, Russia or some other European country. These countries with predominantly white people resident have a HUGE culture invented and still being practiced by millions of white people. I don't know much about white-Americans, so I can't really talk on their behalf. But you need to understand the roots of Europe before even mentioning that white people don't have a culture. When that's said - millions of people use other people's culture everyday. You got curry, Japanese TVs, European music, whatever it could be - guess what? It's from other countries. We import so much food, music, tv shows from other countries everywhere. It is impossible for one nation to have one pure culture that is predominantly one race and has never taken inspiration from another.

ZayZay Tunes Christmas is a part of "white" culture. It's a Mish mash of Christian and pagan traditions from Scandanavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales and then transported to and modified in America. The same is true of Halloween, Family values, individualism, existentialism, Democracy, Modern and classical literature, art, music, architecture, the concept of a constitution. They are all part of "white" culture. (really white culture isn't a thing, there are hundreds of cultures within white culture. e.g British culture, Irish culture, Polish culture, Traveller culture, Italian culture, Greek culture, etc.)

@@apollyon1987 They had British, Roman (Italian), Germanic, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Greek, Armenian, Georgian and other smaller nationalities like Illyrians, Thracians and some East Anatolian tribes. All of these were people of white colour. Sure they had Egyptians, other North African nationalities, Syrians, Jews, Palestinians, Arabs and Iraqis that aren't white but they were around 5-10% of the population.

Conversely, basketball isn't black, but what is the first image of a hooper that you would think of? a black guy. You are so uneducated! All healthy people have melanin in their skin just not to the same extent. Some have it more and some have it less, because of climate effects on humans trough evolution. The absence of melanin production in humans, animals and plants is called albinism.

I think green bean casserole is only a specific part of the country. I live in NE and I make it for all the holidays and most people who come to visit have no idea what it is. The question is, how sophisticated and deep is that culture? There is a difference between ballet and twerking. Between Gucci Gang and the Queen of the Night Aria by Mozart. We have a deep and rich culture. These people who question it would be like a fish claiming it's not swimming in water. They're surrounded by it and don't even realize it.

There’s not necessarily “white culture” or “black culture.” Scottish culture is very different from Greek culture, and Egyptian culture is very different from Swahili culture. There’s so many different and beautiful cultures that you can’t even assign one culture to an entire color of human, and I think it’s great that we’re all so diverse that we can’t assign a single culture to a single color or race 😊
