I remember I was probably 14 and heard the song Crazy Train and I fell in love with the guitar riffs that Randy Rhoad's was playing and the the foot peddle he used during that song. @@ericirwin413 word is that he was inspired by Django Reinhardt who similarly lost the use of his fingers through an accident but that didn't stop him. he just dropped tuning to make it easier to fret and put melted plastic caps on his nubbins and the signature tone of Black Sabbath was born.

Experiences are more important to them, so they would come to this concert way more than buy a diamond given a choice. Diamonds are just crystals but this kind of art takes talent, practice and having that music in their soul. Hopefully it will live on forever. I'd play along with every fucking album they ever put out and I became a regional drummer here in Texas and at 66, I'm still beating the hell out of them. I will love rock and roll till the day I die. Remember, rock and roll will never die, but it's always been a little bit sick.

Bill Ward is a BEAST. Stupidly underrated. He invented metal drumming. The fact that they screwed him over so bad he decided not to continue with them is shameful.

The greatest of rock drummers had Jazz influence, including Bonham, they played with groove and soul, not just a mess of 1/8-1/16-32nd notes, Ward's playing style included triplets with other rudiments from jazz which gave it more depth. Seems the sit in drummers don't recognize they're missing that with Sabbath's music, they're more 80s regular 4/4 rock/metal drummers.

No one plays like Bill. He`s greasy and groovy. He`s got that relaxed drum feel down pat, and perfected the `almost late` end of the beat thing. that`s so so cool.
