I had the same problem. What i did : 1. Clean my ram and switch slot. 2. Press F8 for a few times and then press alt+shift+esc for a few times

I have an hp envy m6. I was doing a virus scan last night. Left it and went to bed. Woke up half way through the night and found the black screen. It wouldn't do anything so I forced a shut down. Tried to start it this morning and still the black screen. Taken the battery out a few times and it gets to ALMOST Windows and then..... black screen again. I just tried to get to safe mode as suggested, and nothing. I've tried the ctrl, alt, delete and that doesn't work.... clicked f10 and a screen came up but no idea what to do with that so got out of it. Help?

I tried this and it showed Repairing Disk Errors this might take over an hour to complete after 49 minutes it fixed the error thanks for that because my laptop hasbeen booting to a black screen for days so thx

So i got a solution, i first shutdown ur hp then Start holding WIN+B+Power button. If it beeped three times and a crack try multiple tries Win+shift+cntr+B hope it works😊
