Thank you so much. I unplugged the batter held power for 30s then plugged in and she turned on like new. Plugged battery back in and now it's taking a charge from the adaptor. Much appreciated!!!

Thanks Jude you helped me restore my laptop that I thought was dead. Water poured on it and I disconnected all power and inner battery. After cleaning the spilled water inside and leaving it dry for a day.the laptop wouldn't start again. I have been trying all means for the last 3days till when I landed on your video. After the discharge and connecting the laptop to main power it all started normally. Am really thankful for your support. God bless you.

thanks a lot , water poured on a laptop and it started malfunctioning, it wouldnt start or charge, i was also able to fix the ram issue by swapping the ram ports, it all turned out that it was due to cmos. i had been thinking it was an ic issue, i had earlier tested all the ic and capacitors, which were all working, i was confused till i stumbled upon this video. thanks a lot. i appreciate. the laptop is now working and charging

I think my issue is related to BIOS and I need to reset it. Since long my Vaio laptop battery had gone exhausted. So, I used to start my laptop by connecting it directly and pressing the power button on, lights would start blinking, fan would start running but there'd be no display; the laptop wouldn't turn on. In such a situation can I connect the laptop with an external monitor or an led tv will there be display? If yes, what does that signify? Please confirm connecting the laptop with an external monitor is advisable? The laptop screen went black when the boot mode was changed from LEGACY to UEFI. Do you think by taking out the CMOS battery will reset the BIOS?

Hey out of all your tutorials in this series this one seems to be the closest to my problem. However this didn't solve it. I have an elitebook 8560p and for the past week my laptop hasn't been working. This happened many times in the past and always I somehow been able to fix it but this time no matter what I do, the moment I insert the charger, the light is solid white and stays there, not booting, not doing anything. I had a dead battery for the longest time and this time I even bought a new battery which I think works, but the moment it's inserted, the light instantly goes white. No response to me trying to power it. And no matter how many times I hold the power button it doesn't change the situation it seems. What do I do? I can't work, I can't get anything done, and I know my laptop isn't fully dead, I know this isn't the end. I just need to find the right solution from here..

Thank you for this video. I bought an HP Pavilion about 8 months ago. However about two weeks ago I had the first incident where I was about to start my computer but had not sign of life even though it was fully charged and plugged in. Before I proceed it must be noted that I never used to shut down by computer very often. I just used to close it and put it away after use. However after the first incident I started to shut it down after every use. But today I had the third incident of my computer plugged it and no sign of life. Do you think I need a new battery?

Might not be the battery. If you suspect so, then try removing the battery to see if it works fine with only adapter

i tried my best to try to do this it didnt work my lenovo laptop has been not working for about 2 years now and i still have lots of issues with it im not old enough to order new battries i tried to plug it up to a hdmi and still did not work both of the chargers are fine how it happened is my dog was between the cord and i tried getting her of and i ended up pulling the laptop and the back part was open if u can make any tutroials in the futore it will help alot thank you

I don't get it. You removed the battery and tried turning it on first and didn't solve the issue. However, what did you do differently that it worked on the second time? You removed the ram but put it back on eventually but still it was just unplugging the battery and it worked?

Hello! I have HP Proobook4530S. I dissasembly it for cleaning and repasting, but when I close it, no working, I press start button, it lights up for 5 seconds, then it;s off but nothing happed. i try every step and it still don't work idk why,,, i was using my laptop until i loose my charger so i barrow a gharger from someone else and plug it in and from i did that my laptop won't turn on idk why the person charger i use it is 20v charger and my charger was 19v so i'm wondering if a the motherboard damage, idk... it no signs of burn so idk why it not powering on.... help me please i'm using a hp laptop

When I used the ram from a different hp, the system boots up but the fan stop spinning after 1 min. When the fan spins, doesn't have that spin to cool the system

Please my laptop suddenly shut down and is not starting up, and experiencing a blinking turn on light with no battery charge light when the charger is connected. It's not coming on. Please what do you think is the problem. I changed the motherboard three months ago and idk what's wrong
