I just made this chiffon cake (without the frosting) and it was very light and fluffy, not too sweet and has a subtle sesame flavour. All my friends loved it!

Juz baked 2 tins, for my oven : use 150C 40 mins, 170C 10 min. Attempted to Minimize cracks on surface. Still cracks cos I poured too much for the smaller tin. Still baking, yet to taste it.
Hi, can I use this in a 6 in round mold? Also will it stick to the mold or can I line the pan with parchment paper for easy removal? Also, will the temperature still be the same if bake in a round mold?
Never one nor grease the pan will making chiffon cakes. Such cakes need to ‘cling’ on to the side to ‘climb’ as it rise during baking. Insert a skewer into the cake n it should b done when the skeet comes out clean. Hope it helps.
