Funk Freaker, (follow me on Twitter @one3dsoul) I promote & my mission statement is almost word for word the same as your comment & knew that there was definitely something really wrong happening with Hip Hop .....at first I fell for the "oh this is just how we talk, how we are, what we do" hype, but was sickened by the fact that I couldn't show my 14-yr-old daughter videos from the artists I love, or as time has progressed, the images (massive drug use/sales. bragging, derogatory language towards women & no substantial lyricism, greed, practically nude 'video dance girls' & at this point, even letting your kids watch most video channels is like taking them to 'a crack house', 'the strip club', or a 'porno.' Check out these videos I discovered on Dec.24th : 1. Huge Corporations have been using Hip Hop - The reason the youth are dumbed down today.flv: (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1DKt7gzxM90.html via @RU-vid) These 'answers' to the questions- What has Hip Hop declined into tracks with maybe 12 words, annoyingly repetitive, greed based lyrics, disrespect of women & all of the sudden seeming to project the idea that these are all good ways to live your life & awesome ways to get rich & everyone is cheating on their spouse or significant other & that's perfectly fine & what everyone does? Then the second question was there are many super talented, genius lyricists who are writing songs with positive lyrics or at least the lessons of what really happens if you live 'that life' they're 'selling'.....Why aren't these artists getting heard & signed by labels......? Then I could only come up with the idea that maybe the labels are greedy & are hiring 'sell-outs' who'll do whatever they're told...& or these artists are already rich & now just lazy....NO, IT TURNS OUT THAT THE ILLUMINATI IS REAL & IT DOESN'T JUST INVOLVE THIS GENRE OR INDUSTRY, BUT MANY HUGE CORPORATIONS WITH SECRET AGENDAS......Thankfully, many artists are finally speaking out & admitting that this is & has been the case for a while......Also search 'public schools dumbing down our youth & why they are doing this......The videos will enlighten & deeply disturb you as they should everyone...please watch them & spread the word...TY
