Clinical social worker can be a psychotherapist. Difference is the clinical social worker has higher educational and experience requirements and is the only masters degree that Medicare will pay for services.

@Friendofstfrank but she wouldn't be calling herself a Social Worker!!! Listen, I have a BA in psychology , that doesn't make me a clinical anything. I hate when people pretend to be something they are not. Besides, whatever she is, she shouldn't be living with a PATIENT!!!

A licensed clinical social worker is a therapist that can change people’s insurance for therapy visits. Look it up. LCSW that’s what her license is called and that’s what her degree is. It doesn’t mean she is a “social worker” They can even diagnose in some states. Not all. They cannot prescribe medication. They are very much qualified to provide therapy. This woman has gone past her limits. What she is doing is not only unprofessional but unethical as well.

Dancers are amazingly disciplined & lovely - but boy were they immature, naive, & lacking in common sense! Their discipline is about the body & movement - so high mental uses are not needed. As actors we had a lot of focus on intent, human psychology...& our bodies were no where near as gorgeous as the dancers.

But I had thought that Ashley has been living with her mom raising Emerson … why did she live with this Barbara person? I’d never heard of this before seeing your post mentioning the same name, but I didn’t realize that it would be so significant that we’d be hearing in court from or about Barbara…. Did Emerson stay back with her grandmom Alicia during the time that Ashley was living with this “therapist.”

@FollowingTheTrial. Yes! All of a sudden her attorney claims he is 72 years old and has poor eyesight! I do remember at the hearing last week that Ashley likes to say, "I believe" alot. The judge asked her to read a paragraph and asks her if she understands what she read. She replies, I believe your honor. She knows EXACTLY what she's doing! More manipulative techniques. She can later state she didn't understand, what she read as she only "believed" she understood. She will use "I have Dyslexia" as an excuse. I also hope Prosecutors force the PSYCHOtherapist (female) to be on the stand to inform what UNETHICAL "relationship" (cough cough) was between her and Ashley. The jurors need to hear how Ashley is a lesbian that pretended to love a wealthy man for his $$$ then murdering him!

Adding in...I bet Ashley is seething with anger at her attorney stating he better do something for all of the money she paid (through scamming people) for her criminal defense.
