This is a powerful story that highlights an important issue. Thank you for sharing Isaiah's experience and reminding us of the ongoing fight for equality and respect. We need to stand together and ensure situations like this are addressed and resolved. Keep up the great work!
Karen and Robert both need to be fired, they are definitely in the wrong line of work. I’ve never had an issue flying first class and I wasn’t dressed in a business suit, just casually dressed.
This narrative video serves as a public service message for anyone who wants to work in the airline industry. Any business that deals with the public should NEVER judge someone by their looks. There are times that if you discriminate against someone because how they look, you can go to jail for it.
great story. I'm also a vetern and it was totally appropriate for him to stand up. But I would have contacted the airline after the flight and seek reparation.
Always judging the book by its' cover, Airport security dared to show disrespect to an Army Veteran due to his melanin. Had they even asked about his army tags, it would still be unsettling as some of them were pretty racist, not thinking Afro-Americans could amount to anything !! While some ghettos in the States had handful of thugs, not every decent Afro-American should be defined by their neighborhood. When the Veteran does reveal his true identity, Airport security will be in trouble with higher-ups for lack of professionalism and empathy. I do hope they get fired, but what really matters at the end of the video is clarity, empathy, kindness and respect over distrust, rudeness and racism!!!! Hold on for the results!!!
